He was very god against Besiktas too. Hope he maintains this form. Rambo has been off the boil for the last few games and Ozil should be played in the centre or not at all.
lol this was easily his best performance for us. He wasn't even THAT good against Barca, it was more the fact that he wasn't bullied by a world class trio in midfield.
It will be funny to see how many fickle clowns on here who have been abusing him for months will now pretended they always stuck by him.
Wenger won't drop either Ramsey or Wilshere. That's what he was planning for years and now that both have/are having a good spell on the starting 11 he wants to finally build the team around them.
I don't agree with it however. Ramsey currently go through a poor run of form and Wilshere is inconsistent. And most importantly where does this leave Ozil? He's a great player but is looking more and more like Wengers worst ever signing unfortunately.
Scapegoat player will switch to Ozil now. Someone always has to carry that touch.
Wilshere was very good. Great to see him hopefully getting back to his best. I actually think he's been improving since back end of last season. Let's hope he continues this form.
Think ozil will be fine, wenger is now determined to get ramsey and wilshere in the same team
Outstanding performance from Jack Wilshere
We should try a diamond formation sometime in the near future.

People forget he's 22; the fact he was in PFA team at 19 put high expectations which is fair enough. But Xavi and Pirlo weren't exactly superstars at 22. I truly believe he has what it takes to be a Ballon d'Or contender at the very least.
I feel if we played that formation we'd end up being way to narrow and get congested out in the middle. We play to narrow as it is with 2 players playing wide positions. But it's worth a try.
Also in other news Debuchy has a bad sprain. Wenger doesn't know how long he'll be out for, and looks quite bad. But no break so that's good. Hopefully no ligament damage. If not then he shouldn't be out for to long.
Don't know of anyone mentioned this yet.

Without wishing to be too pedantic, a sprain IS ligament damage.
I quite like the look of that diamond on paper, although I'm a big fan of 4-2-3-1 personally. I see the arguments about being too narrow, but let's be honest, width has never been our strength (not like we're constantly whipping crosses in for our target men are we?) The thing is, it would presumably work better against teams that don't sit back and defend the width of the 18 yard box against us, and there aren't a lot of them.
Yeah I know. I meant like I hope he hasn't torn it badly. Hopefully just over stretched it. I've had similar really painful injuries at football. But next day is much better after icing it a ibruprofen. But knowing arsenal it's a ruptured ligament.
The key reason Wilshere was able to step up today was the absence of Yaya Toure.
The diamond won't work because we have to accommodate both Walcott and Sanchez. I think 4 3 3 is perfect with Ramsey-Wilshere. 4 1 4 1 is basically a 4 4 3
