they'd just seen their teammate carted off with a nasty injury.....it's to be expected
Have noticed also we tend to let opposition score in their first meaningful goal attempt, shocking.
I was expecting the players to concentrate on their missing team mate, instead, they went back into the game as if nothing happened. Heartless!
Our GK need some talking to and that is where the captain is missing in action, where is leaders in this team, BFG wake up and shout at the BFP and let him know he has to practice goal kicking all week every day. And while he is working on that, we need Ospina to bring experience to our defence, cant stand Szesney.
You been listening to Gary Neville tonight on MNF by any chance AK47? He picked up this very point!
Yes, Master-Creator, shocking to see it on MNF, we are so mentally switched off its unreal.
And did you see AW throwing up his arms at the players to get back into game mode? It was truly shocking!
Having seeing the highlights on MNF, szczesny was a disgrace, I hope we bring in ospina soon
Seen it Master-Creator, AW need to address this issues you don't see the likes of Jose and SAF having that attitude in their teams especially against rivals
Close dressing rooms can bring good and bad. Though I think it wasn't so much abt Debuchy. I believe Chesney's kick was so bad it put us on the back foot. I don't think its a secret that we lack pace in our central defense. Flamini/Arteta/Per can be pretty much had. So opposing teams defend very high making us pass through them. An interception means that those 2 are on the back foot. Add that to Monreal who takes up his position high up the pitch way too soon and its a recipe for disaster. That makes keeper kicking, and clearances in general very important. We need to get length on them and that buys us time to reform our shape.
I hope we see Ospina starting tomorrow, Wenger wake up before its too late.
Szcsney is a good shot stopper but like De Gea he's also poor in decision making, we need to start Ospina before we destroy his confidence sitting on the bench.
Ospina hasn't been available before last Saturday. I'm sure another match on the bench won't 'destroy' anything about him.
Szczesny is not a poor decision maker, but his distribution is way below what we should expect from out first choice keeper. It's something that he himself talked about being a problem two seasons ago. I find it staggering that all this time later it apparently hasn't improved significantly.
I heard recently that whilst at Ajax van der Saar would train as an outfield player to help his ball control and passing. About time someone had the same idea at Arsenal for Wojciech.
Orbinho @Orbinho
Arsenal have conceded from the first shot on target faced in all four Premier League games this season.
Great.

This kinda thing reminds of 5-6 years ago. The City game was a good example, play well in a big game but have massive soft centre waiting to be exploited. Never feel comfortable watching Arsenal if they don't score in the purple patch period.

Sigh...
TBH i was shocked with the teams mentality when we scored the 2nd goal. (Dubuchy went off 5-10 Mins after the goal went in).
As soon as we scored we basically crumbled and could pass for toffee. Szez just booting the ball upfield when any other PL keeper would have kept the ball and tried to calm things down with abit of timewasting.
