Oops. I tell you what mate, that wind was horrendous. I always thought Stoke had a good record at home because of the support, but now I realise it's because they know how to use the wind to their advantage with, for or against.
It was awful.
We couldn't get a hold in the game. I love Falcao and want us to sign him, but he couldn't trap a bag of cement in the first half.
Most painfull watch of the season. And, barring the Moyesey season, one of the most painful ever.
As Gary Nev said though - he grew in to the game and was definitely the better of the two strikers in the second half. I've said since August that the LvG/RvP relationship is going to be a problem for us - Falcao was bullying and harassing, getting stuck in and generally giving the Stoke defenders a hard time but he still got hooked!
He definitely grew into the game. Him and Rooney up front would be deadly IMO.
I saw that RvP declined to pass to Falcao in good positions a few times over the last two weeks.
Started the old conspiracy theory section of my brain going
Yep, never gonna see it though. RvP will play if he isn't injured. Think he's only been subbed off once this season, other than that he's played 90 mins every game.

Did you see me saying that the other day?

No man didn't see that. Great minds though eh
Didn't want to start writing stuff like "RvP afraid Falcao will overtake him as the main man" but after it happened a couple of times .......... ......I'm thinking it.
I think that, if you read through my comments you'll see. Like when Falcao cut the ball back for Rooney last week, in the same scenario RvP would have gone for goal.

I read a few comments, good to know I ain't the only paranoid stoner
Was starting to think Falcao hadn't settled, but after his set up for Rooney and the celebrations after Falcao's goal, I realised it might just be RvP who is the problem.
Arsenal fans did say to us "RvP doesn't want a strike partner, he has to be the main man". And it's absolutely true. He celebrates with other scorers, but half heartedly. It's really frustrating as a fan of the CLUB, not an individual.

Great point. There's definitely something there to worry about.
Hopefully vG has the balls to make the decision to drop him.
I don't think he does, if he wasn't dropped between August and November, when he was absolute dogshít, there is no way he will be dropped at all.
I liken it to a parent/child thing, where the parent looks on through rose tinted glasses.
Oh you guys think your football watching experience was bad yesterday do you.....
Blarmy, come on, your walking the league (or we all thought you were)
You get no sympathy at the top bro
And if you're Man United, you get no sympathy.
I dont think you are particularly hated atm, the Moyes year has done a lot for your image
You're walking the league*
Hahaha fair shout. That's maybe the only thing we can thank DM for. But like Rome wasn't built in a day, neither was it destroyed (shin, chapter 6 verse 3)
We are still hated, I think the day we aren't hated is a day I dread. The day Sir Alex passes to the next realm
Shinj, do you want the honour of making our new thread? Quite a few have seen this one tbh, Robben moved Punching out of the MMA thread so you can make it there. Just needs a really dull title that doesnt look out of place in our recent comments bit
I had noticed the score funnily enough
I would be honoured, but I think it's worked perfectly with you guys in charge. I never even realised we'd been rumbled till days after, so maybe best if I let you guys run the show.
I'd 5-3 to be a Chelsea fan
My laptop is fecked and will only run in safe mode, when I stream a game one advert stays on all the time covering the screen. Any ideas how to get rid lads? When I put it in full screen it disappears but the quality seems to dip in full screen
malware probs, you need to do a system restore in safe mode (should be in accessories) go back to a restore point well before the problems started
i may make a new one at lunch tomorrow then, Robben have you blocked Mamba yet? he's just gonna stalk you til you do
Even if I filter him, he will still be able to see my last commented articles... And tbh, I've never used the Filter button and don't really intend to.
