I always wonder about referendum's like this

I mean, how many Scots are voting yes because they see it as a viable and sustainable future and how many are voting yes because simply because 'we hate the facking English'
----------------------------------------------------------------------

A similar line of thinking (although obviously not a Scottish/English thing) got Barrack Obama into the White House in America...

Im a Yes voter and Ive barely met/seen anyone who are voting because they hate the English.

Most of us think that if we invest our money properly then we can be a successful small nation instead of putting up with Tories half the time which implement policies 1 Scottish constituency want

instead of putting up with Tories half the time

**

it called democracy. The whole country has to put up with the GVT it collectively votes for even though as individuals you didnt vote for it. Plenty of Scots voted tory and they will have to now put up with your socialist GVT for the forseable future. Its actually the same thing.

Exactly RBW - do all of the yessers feel an injustice about the result being no? What about if the vote was yes, that would be unfair on the 40 odd percent who wanted 'no'. A democracy is a democracy, the majority make the decision.
