It makes sense if there struggling to shift all there tickets! sounds like a good offer, has it been announced officially anywhere yet?

Mk, a lot of the lads I saw at Blackpool have been in touch with me and said they have got their ticket for £22 and got another one free.

Even at 2 for 1, Cov would still only get 15,000 to a home game. Ricoh Arena is way too big for them.

Ricoh is way to big for them, and it doesn't help them it being on TV it hardly jumps out the fixture list as a potential classic it will probably be a fairly poor game but Derbys 6th win on the bounce

...ps on exploring our website further maybe DCFC may want to take a leaf and follow suit?: WHY should this Saturday's game V Burnley a 'PLATINUM' game?!

"The visit of Eddie Howe's men is a PLATINUM category fixture and tickets are currently available to buy on GENERAL SALE.

Tickets are available starting from £28 for adults, £17.50 for senior citizens/young adults and £12.50 for juveniles/juniors."

Greedy or what! Have they not noticed gates are down?!!!

"WHY should this Saturday's game V Burnley a 'PLATINUM' game?!"

Its been this way for over a year now. The Gold, Silver and Bronze catagories only exist in theory now. I expect, if the season continues in the present vain of form, then we can alos expect to see the "superplatinum" games become a more regular occurence than just the Forest fixture as matches take on more importance. Sad but true.

Cheers SDS

I still insist it's very short-sighted and greedy. Shouldn't they be encouraging and nurturing new and younger fans rather than out-pricing and alienating them?

... I notice the following game V Milwall is a 'GOLD' game with prices from £25?

I heard an interview with Simon Jordan (yeah I know he's an idiot) who said that these price promotions very rarely make financial sense - even a half empty ground at normal prices is more profitable.

Strider, that does indeed appear to be true in the short term but looking at the bigger picture if the casual fans experience at these games is a good one then they may be more inclined to pay full price in the future.

I must admit though I tend to think results are pretty much the be all and end all if trying to attract new supporters.

It's just a matter of time before you fill PP agian.

The problem is Bombardier closing; what Derby need to do is re-allocate the 4000-6000 tickets to a different local firm. Rolls Royce for example.

Funny how this made up figure keeps going down - 15,000 then 10,000 now as low as 4,000!

Evidence please or go away

Strettea_red:

Tell us about the games we ought to sell out when you can actually do so for a home European Cup semi-final.

That FACT will always show you dogs up as being the most pathetic, cheapskate supporters in Europe - EVER.

derby v west brom play off semi, not sold out to home fans.
Now that's embarrasing

Strettea the only reason that wasn't sold out mate, was cause certain quarters were trying to make mega bucks, but it all fell on deaf ears, and the Wembley officials admitted they had got it wrong, also, when I was getting my tickets for the final, at least 4-5000 got refused, and I felt really bad for them!! especially how they boobed with all the empty seats.

We have never played West Brom in a play off semi final.

Who is this clown?

"The teams may not be correct, but the statement was."

May I suggest you do some research? The game was a sell out, we sold as many tickets as the Local Constabulary would allow us to sell. Now this is a big word for you but you could always try a dictionary.........segregation! The budget for our policing of games that season was very low, therefore instead of more Coppers we had great "segregation"!

Understand, or should we draw you a picture?

May I suggest that before you start typing you think really really really hard? If thats possible
