I think he should stay...far away from the manager's job!
He should stay ... far away in a cave on the Moon.
he's in it for the long haul, give the guy a chance ffs.
He should definitely not stay.
He is having no effect on performances on the field.
On some days the players play quite well (eg against Raith away recently) but on most days they play badly (again last night v. Hibs) but we cannot see evidence of managerial input in terms of tactics, style, pattern etc
Originally I thought he should get up to Christmas in the hope that improvements would be obvious by then and a lead over Hearts could have been built up.
It is now staring us in the face that this is not going to happen.
Hibs and Hearts, with recently cobbled together squads, on much smaller budgets than us, both with rookie managers, have outplayed us in the league games so far. The evidence is there.
However, I think we've got much more pain to endure yet as McCoist won't resign, and the board won't sack him
Only hope is that Dave King has seen our performances and is having similar thoughts to us.....McCoist - nice guy, club legend, held the club together in our bleakest times (albeit for £800k per annum at that time!) but sadly no good as a manager
He has had a lot of injuries this season

Does anyone think McCoist should stay?

His legendary status should see him through until the end of the season. loyalty is a 2-way street.
I think Ally should be given at least another 5 years.
He is getting there

Who would you like to replace him?
Genuine question.
Anyone.
I'd honestly rather have Neil Lennon than McCoist now.
Ideally someone young, foreign and with an eye for a player, but no doubt it will be someone British.
