It's over for wenger, isn't cut out for the top level, left our squad short in key areas he doesn't adapt his tactics based on opposition, weak feeble players.
You lot do understand that no matter how many players Wenger bought, he or any other manager probably would have lost today??? Why is any loss automatically Wenger out? ffs imagine if liverpool and city fans were the same. Chelsea have lost once at home in 4 years under Maureen. Hazard was the difference today in a fairly tight contest

Exactly. Hazard's run was world class, Messi esque.

And the last 4+ years against all the top sides?
It's not the result ffs, look how we played, same old slow and ineffective build-up, playing into mourinho's hands season in season out. Issue is wenger never alters or changes things, mourinho and pellegrini are miles better.
He shouldn't be "sent upstairs". After getting his statue or monument at the Emirates, he should retire to some tax haven somewhere and have viagra-fuelled org.ies and bask in his retirement. He has spent more than enough time here.

Not really judging on the basis of a sole trip away at Stamford bridge
"Why is any loss automatically Wenger out? "

Why is it any time anyone says Wenger out (something that some people have been saying for years), the go-to mode of defence is that it's knee jerk?
Wenger is and will always be untouchable in with some of the fans on here
Wenger's built a great infrastructure here but the guy isn't a manager, he doesn't understand modern tactics, he has taken us as far as he can, we should bring in a proven modern winner like simeone
usual anti wenger garbage every time arsenal dont win -
without the OIL MONEY do you seriously believe that chelsea or man city would be where they are today ?

What upstairs role would you put Wenger in?
Wenger "upstairs" would be a disaster...
who would want to manage Arsenal with AW looking over your shoulder..... top managers would not agree to this, so what would AW's job upstairs be?
pointless and a waste of money is what it would be
the club needs a fresh injection... what I would give to have Klopp take over next summer
how long can this situation go on! we are the 4th best team year on year... at some point we have to push on and that looks unlikely with AW downstairs...

Not true. English managers won't agree to this because they are all on a nice earner. They get very chummy with agents and then players 'magically' agree to take the managers agent as their own. Mendes for example is Chelsea's main agent and also Mourinho's and many of the players. Who is managing Chelsea? Mourinho or Mendes?
We were one of the few clubs who operated the continental system after the Graham incident. David Dein was the defacto technical director and Arsene Wenger was the manager. Why would any manager have issues with Wenger as the director of football. Thats how cruyff worked at Barca for years after managing them. Guardiola in fact did his coaching badges under Wenger. I would love him to manage Arsenal after a couple of more years at Bayern with Wenger upstairs.
