Have to agree very overrated.

Lost is only worth watching because of the characters. The plot becomes unimaginably bad after season 3.
If you want great tv then try these:
Banshee
Homeland
House Of Cards
Broadwalk Empire
It's an amazing show. Keep watching, it's a slow burner but will eventually come good.
True Detective gets good in episode 2 when the girl Woody Harrelsen is banging gets her kit off

Boardwalk empire is quality. Bit slow but it's very interesting.
House of cards quality. I like this time of year, majority of shows are aired.
Heard good things about peaky blinders?

The Walking Dead is more like a soap opera with zombies. The main characters are often more stupid than the zombies.
Lost, although I hadn't seen all of it, lost, if you'll excuse the pun, it's way a few series in. It was clear the writers were making it up as they went along. The overly-sentimental aspect started getting annoying too i.e. there'd always be a scene every episode with one of the main characters getting emotional with the slow piano music in the background.
Prison Break got too repetitive and silly after about season 2. They were breaking in and out of prison so often you couldn't care less.
Don't think TD is slow tbh. It's only 8 eps and the pacing is perfect.
