And to complete my joyous day, Real Madrid won El Clasico, so I live in a ghost town
Not read the thread yet, but initial thoughts:-
Fair play to Wigan - they did a job on us today.
We seemed pretty clueless going forward, despite Russell's energy. Ibe lost possession far too often.
Whitbread badly caught out for the first goal.
Butland's distribution dire.
Nobody outstanding for us and several had poor or mediocre games.
Best bit of the game was when Uwe had his legs taken away by a flying Russell
Mrs A is now officially a bad omen - she reckoned Wigan had twice as many players as us in midfield. I think she may be right !
RiD why would we bin Steve for Clive from the Clint Eastwood film "every which way but loose"
Looks like the jigsaw isn't quite there yet:
Against Fulham I'd go for:
.......................Butland........................
Shotton.....Keogh....Bucko...Forsyth
.....................Oscar.............................
..............Coutts.....Hendrick...............
..Calero........Russelll..........Dawkins
Wanna see what Russell offers leading the line and see if he can be a decent sub for Martin.
SM doesn't sound a happy chappy.
Useless Trivia: Clive was beaten to death by his trainer in the sequel to every which way but loose.
Thought I was watching Paul Jewells team today. Wigan beat us at our own game. They picked up the loose balls and controlled the game like we usually do. I was amazed we went in at half time in the lead. Thought if we can win this we will walk the league because it doesn't matter how bad we play. In the end we got we deserved.
Butland is cup tied, so he will not be playing at Fulham.
Thanks for that VC10 well a good chance for Belarus to show us what he's got.
Bucko is better than Whitbread - just a bit - and his long range passes are better. You only need 5 or 6 good passes in a game to double the chance of scoring.
I now know why I got married.
Season tickets arrived within 10 mins.
Had a few now! Next one a Chilean Merlot, it's a curry night on the coast, Neil Diamond of all things, out early on a bike ride tomoz, letting things go now.
Today an aberration, tomorrow the world!
I love you Rams!
Night night, gonna be a late one. Xx
Night, Durango. Enjoy it xx
Goodnight RiD. We love you too.
Enjoy the ride.
