Got to be patient with Oxlade

Obviously he'll become a very good/top player but at the moment he is a useless waste of space. Has no affect on a match, runs into players, gives away the ball too often, not decisive enough in the final third. Doesn't know his best position yet, plenty to learn yet despite being in his 4th season here.

Absolute no doubt that the guy has talent.

At the moment he shouldnt start games. From the bench he looked better.

if it's one thing we should have learnt by now, it's that a young player, who's had a major injury, will take time to find form.

patience is the key to the Ox. He will come good but he will need time which is why wenger has eased him back in. He's playing now due to the injuries

I think his form is such that we should be trying someone like Joel Campbell instead. Joel should definitely start in his place vs Burnley. I think Theo would benefit from a bit more of a rest.

I could only catch flashes of the game today. His decision making didn't look great, but he was a danger. He would have been involved in a couple of goals if our players didn't have such crappy shooting

He always looks dangerous. He's very inconsistant, and in that dark patch last season (from February to the Wigan game) he was our best player.

He needs to work on his decision making, and like you say his general inconsistency with regards to dribbling, as it's frustrating because we all know he's got the talent.

He'll come through, just needs to know his position and role. Is he a box to box midfielder? A playmaker? A direct forward?

Think he should have spent more time in a first team before coming to us.
Wenger trying to convert him to a CM one week, a right winger the next and then a left sided midfielder the next time he starts doesn't help.

Don't think even Wenger knows his best position. He's always said CM, but he only plays him there in a crisis. As I mentioned in one of the last lines of the article, I hope he doesn't mess him around.

He's not really dangerous, very poor goal/assist ratio, he can't deliver a good final pass, normally does the hard part then messes up. He gives the ball away far too much, very careless player.

No end product at all from Ox in terms of goals and assists. Least Walcott had that in his locker despite looking rubbish early on.

They guy cost what was it 15 Million and is on a min 60k per week. Why shouldn't we expect more?

I'm sure he will come good but the guy needs to go out on loan. He shouldn't be learning his trade at a big club like Arsenal. We are not a youth academy where we continue to play promisng players in the hope they come good.

Completely agree with this - towards the end of the match, his direct running and passing created a number of chances that really should have been put away.

He has been poor but lets be fair, Wenger plays him in a different position every week and that's when he even bothers to play him. Can't blame him for not developing as quick as we would hope.

He plays much better for England than he does for us. I don't think that Wenger is helping his development. In any case for us he only really plays well as an impact sub.

He has not been worth his place in the side this season. He needs to work on his finishing. He should be scoring far more goals than he does.He is only 21 and hopefully he will improve.

I would bench him for the next couple of games and try Campbell instead.
