I don't have a panacea. I'm merely stating that Spurs are stagnant under the leadership of Levy and Lewis, and those who constantly flock to blame the manager need to cast a far more scrutinous eye on the chairman and owner. NOTHING has changed over the last few years regardless of the coach. The same problems resurface.
The players aren't treated with appreciation. Look at Defoe, Pav, Krancjar, Bale.
If you love your club (or country) you play with passion, and that is evident for all to see. Take USA in the last 2 World Cups for example. They showed more fight and determination, even though they were always underdogs, to go out fighting.
We at Spurs don't seem to have that, and it shows. Even the crowd at WHL. The area too is a dump (having lived in Enfield and Herts. for 30+ years)
Dramatic change of attitude please. The best jobs I have ever worked for (in Hoddesdon for example) I was treated as a welcome, much needed asset to the company, and I loved my job. Other companies I have worked for I was taken for granted, treated like a replaceable expendable and I hated getting up in the mornings.
Give our team some incentive. Something clearly isn't right here.

the problem with the spurs team is we are too soft and too nice.
if things aren't going our way we just wither away like a dying flower. its pathetic.
if chelsea get a decision go against them they are all over the ref. ours just ask a polite question. we don't want to win badly enough.
too nice, too worried about our looks. no body on the line defending.
vertonghen is the main culprit but they are all just as bad.
to be fair, danny rose gives 100%.
i am sick to death of the lot of them.
anyone who doesn't want to play for spurs can f.ack off.
if its such an inconvenience to pull on a spurs shirt for these guys, then just play a kid who wants to play.
We don't have enough quality in the side. The match should have been finished off after we went 1-0 up. We had a long portion of that half to put a very poor Newcastle side away, but we don't have enough options to look to to get us those goals. I mean FFS, how is it our most expensive player was a passenger against a poor Newcastle side, at home?
True Pochettino's formation was partly at fault and he should have made the required change earlier but still. Look at the options from the bench. So underwhelming.
thats the worst thing. newcastle are SO bad. and after we scored first we should have run away with it.
at 1-0 i would have told you that a draw would have been a terrible result against that lot. but to then lose is simply a disgrace.
Levy is financing a new stadium, hence spending nothing in every window, we will continue to tread water for a while yet.
Look at the signings mostly young with potential and with a possibility of making a profit on them.
The clubs with real ambition (and money) go out and sign proven top class players to make an instant impact, Spurs sign younger less established players that may turn into top players, there is no wonder we are stagnating.
They should have scored another to make it 1-3 as well. It's as if we played like we never expected them to make a fight for it, even after the break. Like we could just comfortably see out the 1-0 victory without really trying. Criminally naive performance.

that strategy has served us well in the past to be fair.
we have tried to pick up establish players but often got pipped by a richer club at the final hurdle.
william, mata, hazard are three that pop straight into my head.
Never read so much dross on this board since Arry was sacked!
Cannot believe so many of us think we are some sort of top 3 contender automatically with only 1 year in the CL in the clubs history!
Get used to the fact that to get back to where we were we need to rebuild again as we do not have the finances or followings of Utd et al to be constant challengers or bounce back after 1 season!
We pulled ourselves back together after Ramos and a DoF cocking us up and what do we do, go back to that way again and what a surprise we've gone back to being useless.
Levy is a plank.
