I refuse to believe this nonsense. So various players throughout the years from differing backgrounds and different countries all just happened to end up at Spurs with a weak mentality?
As far as I can remember you've just never had a top side. You were close to one a few season ago and my favourite team to watch. I much prefer the pace and power over tippy tappy or defensive tactics like Chelsea. That's gone now though.
The thing is not matter how bad you've been and that you've a new manager with the squad having to get used to his methods, you're still in a shout for top four as your supposed rivals have been just as bad.

Yes, just 2-3 seasons ago
Didn't see the game what with personal problems etc..
Nevertheless, tried to keep up with the scoreline and probably with hindsight, shouldn't've bothered...
What a mess really
OnlyOnered, I feel like you're making the same mistakes that Spurs have so far and as you can see, amateurish doesn't even describe it..
Levy's dealing reputations gone to his head and using false economy, i.e. buy 2 for the price of one, as well find the bargain player/manager has cost this club more...
The worst thing is that overall we are actually worse off
It doesn't give me any pleasure to say any of this...I am fan and as much as it pains, I am going to stick through good and bad times...
But when a club has reached as a squad and management team the levels of CL, the last thing you do is not only sell the best player, but you replace that player with a bunch of players without regards to the kind of players the club needs, rather trying to find a gem out there?
Lack of mentality is accentuated by failure to win games.
The fact that we cannot win a game after European games is now a boring subject and evryone knows it.
Stoke/Newcastle know that.
After each Thursday game, our players think it's okay to have a bad sunday.
That's the mental issue with Spurs.
No smoke without fire?
