Heeds taking it in good spirits. Perhaps you could do the same.
You brought him into the conversation as if he was comparable to the posters I had mentioned. Like timmy, Gordon etc inoffensive posters Super Alky demonstrated time and again he was anything but inoffensive.
-----------------------
It was a bad example if taken literally.
I thought it was clear when I used the term perception that it can skew peoples thoughts.
For example - I think Gordy* is harmless but others may think he's is a one trick tedious WUM who needs kicked off the site.
*or Rickens Rocket
As for SA - I made my opinion known on his last Op
As for "challenging behaviour" that smacks of trying to dress up abusive reactions to inoffensive posters into something more palatable. Doesn't work I'm afraid
------------------
100% wrong.
Challenging dysfunctional behaviour and positively recognising 'good' behaviour is more effective than name calling and counter abuse
"than name calling and counter abuse"
Naw it's not ya pwick
It's not necessarily about maheed ie I am commenting on something that i have observed and has become increasingly difficult not to see.
Admin1 also had a pop at Maheed - with the looking through the round window comment.
Fairly certain A1 isn't s bully?
PS fk u IE
Fair enough chu
There are obviously wee groups on here at certain times but I dont see any outright bullying tbf
Happyclapping and cheerleading yes. But not bullying IMO
Right, let's move on from the circular debate

So what part of the unprovoked abuse that the likes of timmy receives is "challenging" dysfunctional behaviour.
It seems you have a lot to say about the good work these posters are supposedly doing towards guys like timmy but I don't ever seem to recall you "challenging" Super Alky.
Chu
You are gonna get some of that in a mixed team forum.
The site generally gets self policed and the admins interven when necessary.
For my part if you are debating and trying to 'win' an argument then you've got a better chance if you respect your 'oponent'
If all a poster does is abuse and WUM others then they are pïssing in the wind trying to influence others.
IMHO

I wouldn't elevate admins behaviour to the level we all should hope to achieve.

Everybody can read my points about behaviour and hopefully it causes some to reflect on what they say/post.
As for SA - as I have already said. I let him know what I thought of his behaviour towards Timinator in his op.
Timinator (or others on that thread) may be able to recall the name I called him ( one of only two posters I have seriously called a name)
I won't hold my breath for an apology....
SA was filtered ages ago by me so if you verbally booted him the baws for his pash then well done.
We will all have different opinions on this you can't convince me that what I have observed isn't a cycle of abuse and it seems to be pushed by the same old posters. Should leave it at that.

Maybe just having this conversation in 'public' might raise the question enough for us all to ensure banter does not go too far.
Although with an OF game on the horizon - I wouldn't bet on it
Really mick?
Go back and read the last thread sdf commented on that day. You find all it was me asking him to stop his abuse towards me.
Why are you stirring things up?

Enjoy the Hertz game
Hey, Chu did not wind up SA to the point of quitting the site.
--------------------
I never said he did - I only pointed out a quote which could (at that time) be construed a certain way.
Plus Admin kicked SA off for the stuff he said to Timinator.
If that guy had any decency left in him then he should've apologised but instead he made it worse
We should all be able to get on fine on here. All we need is for the bears to show some respect for their champions and to accept a few basic truths...starting with Celtic = good, rangers = bad.
Some of the bears are getting to grips with this already.
For example, I saw ath in the street the other day. He tipped his bunnet to me in a respectful way as I walked past.
Mind you...we all know Ath is a bit of a doffin codger.
