Some people on here are so thick, judge players on stats and nothing else.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
People like u are thick u Muppet. Showed u up about Kheidra yesterday and showing u up again as a fool with no knowledge.
How would u judge a RWF then if not by goals and assists?
He certainly hardly tracks bk as that's why chambers gets torn apart in some games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
wtf, when did you 'tear me apart' I don't even remember talking to you about Khedira.
But yea you are plain thick lad, one of them bells that is obsessed with stats, that's why you are slagging off the likes of Ox & Wilshere all season despite being our best players.
His end product isn't that of a top player but his contribution to the team is still valuable at the moment. His passing is excellent, he carries the ball long distances on the pitch, he is a good outlet for our defence with his pace and touch and contrary to your mythical bullshít, he does track back defensively, certainly better than Podolski does.
Only a clown would have Podolski in the team ahead of Chamberlain but that would probably explain your comments. You'd probably have Kevin Nolan in our midfield given the chance

Against Man Utd, three of our best chances were 'assisted' by Chamberlain. The Welbeck shot from just a few yards out was set-up by a Chamberlain pass; the Welbeck shot saved by De Gea at the other post was from a Chamberlain pass; and the Sanchez header came from a Chamberlain cross. Not to mention the Welbeck header 10 minutes into the match, which was also assisted by Chamberlain.
I'm not saying Chamberlain doesn't have to work on his final product, but had other players not been so profligate, his record would be much more impressive. He's created a huge number of chances for us, and the failure of others to convert them shouldn't be an indictment of Chamberlain's lack of final ball.
Regarding the tracking back, this was a criticism levelled at him after the Swansea game, but I completely disagree.
As I posted on another thread:
I don't think it's fair to critcise Chamberlain's defensive contribution. He faced Montero four times when Chambers had got caught upfield, and whilst Chamberlain conceded a foul on one occasion, the other three times, Montero couldn't get round him - a much more successful one-on-one duel record than Chambers had against the Ecuadorian.
There's really only so much Chamberlain can be expected to do, and I think he did his job as well as one could expect.
If you look at the goal, for example, Chamberlain tracks back to support Chambers - standing in the space inside to cover for any underlapping role of Taylor, as well as preventing Montero from cutting inside.
In theory, this sort of positioning makes the full-backs job relatively straight-forward, since the winger only has one place to go (down the line) - meaning the full-back can give himself a yard or two to cover the byline.
Unfortunately, Chambers simply didn't have the pace to prevent Montero beating him down the line (which he did on ample occasions in the match).
Chamberlain consistently tracked Taylor, as well as covering in-case Montero cut back inside. As the full-back, it's Chambers' sole responsibility to cover the run down the line, and as highly as I rate Chambers (as a CB at least), I would say it was solely his fault that they got so much joy down that side.
Even our goal came about from a Chamberlain run from inside our own half after he had tracked back to our own penalty area.
I really don't see how he can be critcised for not doing enough defensively.

Rather be obsessed with stats than meaningless facts about player like u.
And ur giving the example of Ox game against united where he played against the worst bk 4 united will ever have.
What's he done in the rest of the games against decent PL defenders?
Il give u a clue f----all
Meaningless facts, he's given a detailed comprehensive answer and all you can say is you are obsessed with stats. What a terrible poster you are

Detailed facts about 1 game against the most pathetic defence we will see for years. And another game where our rb was getting torn apart all game. Yea he helped chambers abit it wasn't amazing help.
Name another game in the PL where he created chance after chance for our attackers?

What's the point in beating players if you can't deliver a good cross or finish? Good player all I'm saying is he has a lot left to work on to be considered a top class talent
-----
He has the ability to go beyond a player which can help breakdown a team's shape, to often we just play in front of teams. He can help pull players out of position by his pace and movement. He will continue to improve, he's been around a while but he's still young and has had injuries which has delayed his development. To call useless is way over the top though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
^ It's a shame you actually have to explain this stuff to people...
Oh and I've never said he was cr4p hes an excellent talent. I'm arguing the fact the OP said he was our most inform player this season.
Don't think u can be in form if ur not creating or scoring goals especially if u play as a wf.
Ox has really kicked on this season.
He's got that same powerful presence as Alexis, and his work ethic is rubbing off.
"Some people on here are so thick, judge players on stats and nothing else."
===========================================
Whilst this is true, it's hugely ironic and especially amusing to see a person who uses little more than stats in his seemingly never ending "Ronaldo is better than Messi LOLZ~!" one man war against the ja606 board.
Very very pleased with Ox's progress so far, especially as his best seems to have come immediately after a couple of god awful performances from him . Against Hull he was a liability, watch the 2nd goal we conceeded again and you will see it was almost entirely his fault. Gibbs had to push up to cover him being out of position on the left wing meaning jack had to drift out to left back and subsequently wilshere gets beat the cross comes in and Hull score the header.
Since then he has been our best player along with Alexis. I agree with the person who said he has learnt a lot from Alexis, he is displaying the same confidence and fearlessness of Alexis. The way he has motivated himself to play well after his poor performances speaks volumes about his mental strength and a lot of our other players could learn from him
He also appears to have gained even more pace, he runs with speed power and directness, like Gervinho but with better end product. If we are to do anything this season he will be a massive part of it
IMO he has the most potential out of all the young english lads, slightly more than Sterling who i also really rate

Disappointed in you Herbie. Didn't think you were a Messi fangirl.
Haha, I'm neither, my man (I'm one of the leppers out there that can mroe than appreciate both), just found it a particularly amusing stance for you to take given your rather enthusiastic Ronaldo appreciation.
Ronaldo is undoubtedly better than Messi at the moment. Messi at his best was a class above. Messi was so much more about the beauty of the game.
Ronaldo is the GOAT though. I just use stats to wind up Messi fangirls.
