Best Away Day

Blackburn is always a good one for us. They give us the whole stand behind the goal and the atmosphere is always amazing.

In saying that, any away game for us is amazing. Our home fans can be the 'prawn brigade' but our away fans are easily the loudest and best fans going. Totally different atmosphere.

Fond memories of a few trips to Goodison too. Won both times I went there to see Utd.

Went to see Napoli vs Juventus in the San Paolo a few years ago, that was epic

I was at the 2009 Champions League final, in Rome.

Amazing night. Shame we lost.

Sheffield United vs Fulham away last season in the fa cup will always be hard to beat for me given it was £10 for ticket and coach there and back.

City away Burnden Park back in the day was fun. Also memorable as Burnden Park also had the worst public toilets I've ever encountered outside the 3rd world.

As far as adrenalin thrills go, travelling with a group of lumps to Besiktas is definitely up there. Spent half the time keeping an eye out for sharp objects in the crowd.

West Ham.

The one I make sure to go to every season. Always a good one.

I went to Galatasaray with my bro too. That was incredible.

Munich was also good.

City, Liverpool and Stoke are always tasty affairs too.

West Ham is always a good trip, also.

Start in the Scotsman by any chance?

Well I’m a Chelsea fan so coming from a different perspective but I also enjoy West Ham away, a lot of buzz in the air but completely agree with the OP, Fratton Park is brilliant and consistently one of the best atmospheres.

I saw Ghana Vs Portgual this year that was really good. The Ghanaian fans though small in number were really great so passionate.

I saw Wisla play in Krakow that was cool they literally never stop singing also the atmosphere in the bernabeu is pretty good.

In terms of UK games Palace is always good, Sheffield United as well

Shef United don't have any fans though!

Saw a non league game in Poland, that was awesome, had to be called off for a bit as there were too many smoke bombs on the pitch!

Due to financial and geographical reasons, I haven't been to a match in years.

But back in the day, loved travelling to Upton Park. Atmosphere was always great, friendly rivalry, good football played. Definitely my favorite away ground. Also liked travelling to Villa and Newcastle (only been St James twice but great days on both occasions).

Worst grounds were WHL, Craven Cottage, Anfield and St Andrews. Complete shítholes and prícks for supporters.

Sheffield aways bring back some good memories.

We were on our way to see us play Wednesday, four of us by car. We stopped at a pub (forget the name) at the end of Snake's pass and were met by a group of about 20 Yorkshire bruisers! We put ourselves in the corner quietly taking in a pint when the worst happens;

"Are you lads City?!"

Here come the cold sweats and brown duds

"Errrm....yeah"

"Hope you smash them <expletives> today!"

THEY WERE BLADES! THANK GOD FOR THAT!!!

We had a few beers with them and headed to the ground, where we won 6-2!

We went back after and didn't pay for a drink, which was great for the three of us who weren't driving!!!

I went to that game with a my mum, dad and brother I was about 12. We parked in a KFC about 20 mins away, I cant remember if we were just slow gettin out or we stopped somewhere after but by the time we got back to the car. The City team were in the Pizza hut next to the KFC all drinking a beer. Suppose it was well deserved, wish I had got a few autographs but my dad thought it would be better to just leave them to it.
