It's a shame he didn't join Chelsea in 05, would've loved to see Lampard and Gerrard in the same midfield. Lethal combination

His famous slip against chelsea which cost his team their first league title in over 24 years.
==================================
Didn't, Liverpool lost 2 nil in that game.
Yay another gerrard article.
Slipping for the vital goal which gave Chelsea the lead
Obviously he regrets slipping to allow a team to score a goal.
Probably would have been even more gutted if the game had ended 1-1, but it didn't, and we didn't look like scoring, so it made little difference.
On the flip side, during that run in, but for some crucial goals from Steven, and assists, Liverpool would never have been in a position to win the league anyway.

Yeah true....played well together in England's national team.
Gerrard is a fraud, nothing but a set piece merchant. Give me Jack Wilshere over a peak Steven any day.

/i felt bad for his slip but it makes up for all the dives he did.
Geared likes being a big fish in a small pond. No ambition to win trophies
He could have joined Madrid too.

Well that in conjunction with Kolo toures backpass, and a couple of other incidents.
We were given a lifeline by kompany making a hash of a clearance at Anfield.
Plenty of events that had an effect on the title race.
Obviously gerrards one is fresh in the minds but it was one slip.
Whereas for example you had the whole of the arsenal team and management culpable of bottling title challenges.

Cost us 1 point. That point wouldn't have won the league.
Gerrard biggest regret, gifting Drogba goal meaning he thought of that when he slipped for Demba Ba to score

at the time it would have won you the league. Lets not pretend now that you would been so open vs palace if you weren't trying to chase down City's goal difference
ManfromBelmonty - just accept it. Starfish Stevie's slip cost you the title.

Im surprised they didnt just hand the trophy to city at the end of the Liverpool v Chelsea match, given city had just won the league.
