One day to go and my beloved Rams are in turmoil You might get lucky.

Losing one loan player back to their parent club is hardly turmoil? Or are you saying that Ibe was the fulcrum of the team and you will be lost without him.

No it’s not Will, but I think Eustace is also out for them (fairly long term) for surgery (albeit that he was ineligible because of suspension for this weekends game). They’ve let their top menace (The Fish) slip through the net and go on loan to Rotherham. Furthermore, Albentosa, a player that was a ‘cert’ for signing with them a few days ago, has not materialised yet. They’ve also lost Coutts (who has gone on loan to Sheff Utd).

But, the 'good' news for the sheep, is that they have completed the signing of Warnock, the 33 year old 20K per week former Leeds captain who has a dodgy ankle.

Other than that, all is well Sheepside.

No. I don't think so Ray (well, not that either admit to anyway). Just same surname.

I'm sure Stephen is forever grateful about that fact!

The more vocal Derby posters have been telling us all season what a great squad they have with cover in every position. Been very disdainful of Forest fans cursing their luck over their injury list over the last couple of seasons too...

We've had a player recalled who AT BEST was inconsistent, we've not yet signed a player we're negotiating with but expect to complete it next week, we have willingly loaned out two players who are surplus to requirements, have signed two former England internationals to boost the experience in our young squad, have signed a central defender on a permanent deal and have brought in an ex-Chelsea starlet as 'one for the future'.

Turmoil?

People are stupid.

Five goals in a dozen appearances isn't bad going.

Sorry more like twenty odd games.

Possibly more worried about Eustace going under the knife with Thorne yet to make his comeback?

I think having 'big-balled' all week they are now just 'worried' generally as the day approaches.

Ibe was settling, but at the end of the day we cannot be too reliant on loan players as they are a temporary addition. I would have preferred he stayed but its not like we don't have cover on the wings, Dawkins, Russell, Ward, Calero and Bent if we decide to go 4-4-2.
Eustace is a calming influence in the midfield but again, we have cover. A lot of clutching at straws going on today.

I've no worries, not a walk over but 3pts nonetheless, we go top and we get to sing it to you, happy days.

You boys are back pedalling somewhat.

I have said that if we score early, we will walk it, the longer the game remains a stalemate, Forest will grow in confidence and if they take an early lead we will need to show great character to break them down. I am pretty sure Forest will try to get in our faces, teams have succeeded in the past doing it, but we learned a lot from the Ipswich game.

It IS a walkover, Igor; a victory tomorrow is right up there with 'death'; and 'taxes' as regards a certainty, the only question being by how many goals.

What annoys me is the panty-bunchers like Peeder who can't see the wood for the trees, insist that we shouldn't be negotiating with highly sought-after players but rather demanding they sign on the line to Peeder's timetable or else we'll go elsewhere, and conveniently forgetting the transfer dealings already completed, all very good and astute deals.

They make me puke with rage, those people.

Tomorrow? Tomorrow's a walk in the park, a victory is inevitable, and I thoroughly expect Schtevie to insist we go for the throat; not to undermine Pearce, but because we're only second by GD and we have an opportunity to improve ours massively against the division's whipping boys.

It's difficult to see the wood for the trees when you are up against the Forest, so don't blame them too much, 666.

Not when you have Craig "chainsaw" Bryson in your side sph.

That's better 666. For a minute there I thought your boys were losing their nerve.

'Nerve' is the only thing we could possibly lose this weekend, Will; certainly not any football matches.

It's a massive shame as I miss the banter of the build-up; it's been like going to Siberia to undergo a "Rocky 4" training regime before wrestling with Stephen Hawking.
