We've had idiots on the pitch at our place too. Doesn't reflect on club or fans. Hope they are not punished, there isn't a lot anyone could do to prevent it except be vigilant.

Hope they come down really hard on the fool.

I just posted the following on the Forest Derby match thread only to see I am filtered. But here I repeat what I tried to write..

"Forest fully deserved their win today. They were the better side and I have no complaints about the result except about our performance which was very poor. If we can't play better than that we don't deserve to be promoted".

"The ref was great. Totally fair and very calm. Well done Forest. This could be the turning of your season".

This is only the third result against form in this fixture in recent seasons. First one Forest have won against form so I suppose it is Karma.

I'm genuinely pleased for Forest - and have text several Forest mates to say the same.

They wanted it more than us. We didn't create a single attempt on target. Poor.

Is that Lars moving in towards the punch-up action? God help the fan if he had got there (although it may have taken him a while to do so....)

In general, local derbies follow form just as any other game. Out of 16 meetings between Derby and Forest since we have been in the Championship, (2 cup games in that) only 3 have gone against current form. which is probably less than the number that could be expected in the Championship. Football supporters love their myths though and I could say this a million times and still supporters would say the form book goes out the window.
