Spurs' transfer spending is pretty embarrassing alright. You don't even have the excuse of funding a new stadium to fall back on. I mean Spurs were talking about building a new stadium before we were and we've been in the Emirates for nearly a decade now.
Levy is all talk. He can milk buyers for money when selling his prized assets, I'll give him that. But it seems to be all he knows how to do.

Yeah....we've spent tens of millions on gaining planning permission. We have bought and cleared land all around the stadium, just held up by the legal wranglings with Archway Steel, and we have no intention of building the stadium
AT Highbury Arsenal were the unbeatables. They were Champions. They were Double Winners.
In 8+ years at the Emirates they have done no better than 3rd and have 1 FA Cup in the cabinet....all that money spunked on a new stadium and you're worse off. It seems the more money Wenger spends the worse Arsenal become....about £180m (about £92m NET) in the last three seasons and you're out of the title race by November

How do we know what is going on behind the scenes, whether Levy is or isn't involved in negotiations etc with other chairmen.?
As for a Gooner coming on here criticising OUR chairman, when they have been screaming at Kronke & Wenger for the past few seasons, it just beggars belief.
