This is poor, even for you.

Care to elaborate? It's a fair point surely? Or are is your stock defence mechanism kicking in early Great?
Be honest, how many on here were surprised to see Balotelli in the squad last night?

Really can't be bothered. You aren't stupid therefore there is only one reason to write what you have written, and I don't have the time or the inclination to "discuss" this drivel.

Then kindly leave the thread
Perhaps Brendan needed a scapegoat as he seen another chance of winning atrophy slip away.
So he decided to bring on the Italian gimp
Considering the balance of the game when Mario came on I thought some of the pundits criticism of him was a little harsh. He didn’t do much but sometimes the margins are so fine, the ball taking a ricochet as you try and beat a player, a defender not quite lunging far enough and it changes games. Don’t get me wrong I think he is a bad singing but having had a decent game as a team I think Liverpool seem to collectively let their heads drop at the end of the game and it was a hard came to come on in to at that stage.
Two things may have been at work here:
(1) This may have been Rodger's way of proving that his assessment of Balotelli as not working out for Liverpool..................OR:
(2) He may have been hoping that Balotelli would prove him wrong and score that "wonder" goal needed for victory.
Either way Rodger's would win, unless he was the primary one who decided to hire Balotelli in the first place?
The truth was that Balotelli looked lost yesterday and Liverpool would do well to get rid of him before the transfer window closes.
looks like hes trying to jason cundy us here

Exactly.
Borini may well run around lot but hes absolutely atrocious on the ball
Think he brought him on for pens, as per lambert later.

Really? For Pens, you would have need to score a goal first, surely Lallana would have been a better call?
Pens is a good shout
I thought he did a good job out on the left wing personally . Held the ball up well and made a fair few clever passes.
He and borini are about as likely to score as each other
Borini runs more, balo is a better physical presence
It's not as if he came on with better players still on the bench
As a Chelsea fan it was a relief to see him brought on last night. Not because I think he's terrible, he's not. It's just he doesn't fit their system. Their whole attack slowed down when he came on. Was Lallana injured? Rodgers has them playing a better system now when they don't have Sturbridge, I doubt Mario will see much game time when Daniel returns.

to be fair, if hendo could have just headed in with that chance he had.. it was likely to have gone to pens.
