The answer is he wouldn't be marking him. The CB that BR brings on would be now marking him or Sakho.

I see you've never played or prepared for a game.
1) can would have trained in preparation for this game to deal with Lukaku. He did it brilliantly today. As good a player as he will be, he didn't just turn up to Goodison today and got told "today you're marking Lukaku"
2) the best place to do that would be in the back line, where Lukaku would run the channels.
3) if Can would have played in a defensive midfield role ONLY due to an injury during the match, who would have picked up Lukaku? Can would have still been the one with the most preparation to do that.
4) thereby if he was picking up Lukaku, it would have changed the shape of the team as the DM slot would have been emptied at various times when Lukaku got the ball.
You should understand it now. If not, I suggest going out in the real world and playing football and not just playing it on the Xbox.

I'd laugh, but you're actually being serious, showing a severe lack of tactical and match play knowledge.
Put it this way.. if you had been playing FIFA consistently on a Xbox and someone who did likewise but on a playstation, offered you a match on a playstation for a bet of a significant amount of money - would you take the bet?

Hindsight can be 20-20, but in this case you're asking to fix something that isn't broken.

He also said the pitch and the referee were a reason why a £160m team couldn't beat league 2 Cambridge.
