This is not about who owns the club, King will have the same stake in the club that he currently has, the share ownership will stay as it is. Rangers revenue streams will stay the same and you will not have access to Kings money, unless he does what you lambasted Ashley for and loans money to the club.
This vote is simply about who runs the club.
And as much as I don't like Ashley, he has a far better CV of running football clubs than King or Murray do.
Just be careful what you wish for.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What king does with Rangers in a negative sense in purely speculation, that speculation comes about because of his tax issues in South africa, take that out of the equation and the speculation can be removed.
The positive stuff is coming from the horse mouth and his fellow reqisitioners, are you saying we should no believe king , gilligan and murray, and just guess what ashley will do to us

Dave King's 16 point plan for Rangers:
"If elected to the Board alongside my 2 proposed colleagues I promise the following:
1) We will immediately seek to raise fresh capital through the already approved Rights issue within a month
2) In this issue, I commit to underwriting 24,783,464 at a rate of 32p giving a guaranteed £7.93m of working capital taking me to 29.99% holding.
3) In this issue, I commit to finding a suitable underwriter of the remaining 20,778,454 at a rate of 32p giving a guaranteed £6.65m of working capital.
4) From the £14.58m raised, we will immediately pay off the £5m Mike Ashley loan, freeing the club of any debt. All security over assets will be released and this will leave us with over £10m of immediate working capital in April prior to Season ticket sales.
5) We will rip up the terms of the second £5m loan as this has not been used as funds yet meaning no further liabilities to Sports Direct.
6) I guarantee to speak with Robert Sarver with the view of potential investment in the club to be put to shareholders at a later date, if terms are agreeable.
7) Over the next 3 seasons, as previously indicated in interviews, I will commit a further £22m of funds to the club from myself or associated parties, free of debt, security or burden on the club.
8) We will immediately invest in a proper scouting system to aid the teams progress.
9) We will bring in a new manager who is able to work within the confines of our revenue budget working with a mixture of youth and experience.
10) All levels of the clubs coaching will be in line from top to bottom to ensure progression and transition from youth to first team is easier.
11) I will guarantee to place Ibrox Stadium and Auchenhowie in a Trust as promised and requested by me 12 months ago guaranteeing none of them will be used for security whilst we serve on the Board of the club.
12) I will run the club on a Break Even budgetary policy which does not consider Cup or European revenue as advanced budgetary items.
13) Any financial losses made as a result of mis-management of transfers/wages outlined in point 12 will be covered by myself and associated parties to ensure a strict fiscal policy for the club.
14) We will not appoint any current divisive fan figures, on both sides, to any position within the club.
15) We will not allow Jack Irvine to speak on behalf of any club business. All ties will be immediately terminated.
16) I will engage with Mr Ashley in relation to the Retail deal and aim to return to the days of generating £17m of annual revenue at a fraction of the cost so both Mr Ashley and the Club win financially without any risk to the club of losses.
Mick
You may have a genuine interest in fitba, but many bhoys are just enjoying the Rangers daily disaster show.
Forgive my cynicism in relation to Celtic fans wanting the best for Rangers.
You could be a lone wolf,Mick, with a few other bhoys on here, but most comments are digs at our expense, and fek all to do with benefitting Scottish sport.
It's just a pity we have a board who don't set out their plans or maybe fans would back them

are you saying we should no believe king
-------------------
Absolutely
And not just me, but the High Court in SA are saying it to.
I am not saying that you should believe Ashley either.
I am suggesting that you take all the promises and lack of promises out of it and simply look at the history that both parties have of running football clubs.
As i say, I wish that there was a third option with enough shareholder support.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yea the board are saying exactly as you are saying, I would let those cants run a bath
You sh@@g wan sheep eh

The rest of the points put my mind at rest, to an extent, but that one excites me. I don't know much about Sarver, so will reserve judgement on him until I research him further. I've started getting into basket ball recently and I like alot of what I've learned about the American system. Though moving franchises still baffles me
Mick there is running a football club and there is running a football club/sports direct
Ask admin1 what him and the newcastle fans think of ashley and what he has done to their club
Ok mick, everyone has something good to offer, not one celtic fan on here has said one good thing about king, break your silence give us some good points now

He looks like a down syndrome Kenny Dalglish
That is about the best compliment I can give him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
For ever negative you give on here there are 10 positives from bears
Aye you could be right Mick, but who knows for sure? My hope is that King will take as much help as he can.
The American model seems to work, only watching Basketball at the moment though, looking forward to the draft!
Good night guys it's after midnight here, serious bit of sun bathing to do in the morning
Laudrup
Enjoy the sun,ya lucky man..............I am not jealous,as I refuse to turn green,on principal.
32 degrees isn't what it is cracked up to be
I'm not really supporting anyone yet, just getting into whatever games BT or ESPN is showing. Like Westbrook and Durrant at OKC but have family connections to Georgia and Florida so will probably follow one of their teams.
