I also get the impression that some people treat their Sky package as some "dïck waving" affair, a bit like having a more flashy motor than the neighbours?
I don't have the sports or movies, I do have Sky providing my internet and telephone, plus the basic channels package with HD on top and I was amased how the cost increased
Serious question, does anybody think this protest will achieve anything or just fall on deaf ears?
If say 1000 out of the 1900 alloctaion pay and attend the game then surely the protest will be all for nothing?
I know the circumstances are different to that of the QPR one a few years ago but I can't help thinking that all of this is going to come to nothing.
Tommo,
You basically need at least 90% (100% would be better) of the people to protest, then it will be obvious.
i wonder if the tickets are £40 to keep Delia sticked up on Gin
there is talk of the travelling fans to go to the ground but not go in. I persume they don't buy a ticket. They are talking about meeting at the ground at 2.15pm. If they are going to do this. I suggest they meet at the ground for 1.15pm then when the team pulls up at least they will know the fans are around the ground and have travelled. If theres close on 2000 derby fans around the ground and not going to the match the police will be nervous.
tbf we will be paying more if we go up. My lad already knows if we go up, insted of going to around 15 way games a season he will be down to around 6 or 7.
Spart, in answer to your question, the only Norwich fans I know are STHs, so they pay a fortune anyway.
I tried to look on the ticket site and prices are not even stated in advance. You have to go into the purchasing procedure, before you find out the cost of the ticket !
I'll do some more research and report back.
Have to say I like Griff's idea even if only a couple of 100 stood outside the ground it would make a good symbolic gesture. Obviously not as good as 2000 but enough to shame the club and draw a bit of attention.
Just went a bit further into the Norwich ticket purchasing thing and a single adult ticket for the lower Barclay, right next to the away fans, came up at £41.50 !!

Wolves away prices just announced: adult £13.50
Why such disparity?
Baz, that means it would be just as cheap for me & the lad to make the trip to Wolves and stay overnight, than watch the Rams play Norwich in our own back yard.
That's an unbelievable difference Baz.
Having said that, my ticket for the Forest home game cost me £40!
Baz I've just seen that How embarrassing for Norwich football club. Oh and by the way East Midlands today Are doing a piece on it tonight at 6.30 Rip off gits
I will be going to the Wolves game. I know its on Sky but with them prices it would be rude not too. Well Done Wolves
You off the slippery slopes for tmoros game Baz?
2500 tickets will go in a flash, and quite right too !
Well done Wolves !
