tiny ttts struggling in the Europey league!
Anyone care to remind spacky of his half time comments during the NLD.

Arsenal gave Spurs just about their easiest game they have had at WHL this season. Only QPR were the equal of Arsenal. Arsenal were right up their with one of the poorest sides to come to WHL in quite a long time.
Arsenal have mastered the art of beating mid table and lower teams which is why they are constantly a top 4 team. Sadly for them they crumble when playing against good teams and it appears this year that includes Tottenham.

The great Arsenal felt sorry for the tiny totts after spanking you three times last season on a trot in which Spurs didn't score 1 goal. We decided to gift you three points to help your mid table finish. Good luck in the Europey League.

Spurs beat Arsenal for the 2nd time in 7 NLD's but are 6th. Lose tomorrow, Liverpool win, you drop to 7th. Win tomorrow, you will still be 6th COYG

Not just a beating, the most one-sided match Spurs have had this season. Spurs win tomorrow may still leave them 6th, but big deal 2 points behind 3rd. A massive chasm that will never be closed. Arsenal then lose next game at United and Spurs win and guess what Arsenal will be 6th.
tiki, my 13-year-old's bantr is better than yours.

We have the points on the board though and are above you, you're relying on hope. I know which one I would rather have. Win lose or draw you're staying put at 6th or dropping to 7th

Oh how the 'mighty' have fallen
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree, fallen all the way down the table to 6th, oh wait
So let me get this straight, despite us taking 4 points off them this season and truly ripping them a new one at WHL, some of them find it amusing to do the very thing that they ridiculed us for in the past, getting ahead of ourselves? What a joke. Yes they may have the points on the board but as the second half against Palace showed today they faded and could of quite easily dropped points. If we win tomorrow that's 46 points and as stated that's 2 points off Arsenal in third. A favourable set of fixtures for either team and that top four could quite easily change around.
I'm not about to spout rubbish for wums sake but I prefer to let the football do the talking.
That NLD win sure seems to really excite grandpa. I guess knowing it's the only excitement left in this season is responsible for that. Bit pathetic though. I certainly wasn't close to that excited beating Spurs 3 consecutive times last season - just after a 5-2 humbling the previous season. Just shows the desperate, small-club, small-time mentality.

More from the 'invincibles' to the perpetual 'invisibles' bickering about their so called tiny neighbours.
Who happened to then embarrass them...

-----------------------------------------
We have the history to back up getting ahead of ourselves. I mean, it's only the small matter of nearly 2 decades of consistency in the top 4 above Spurs. You have no such history. So getting ahead of yourselves would make you look silly. That argument may apply if we were leading Chelsea and City in the title race and getting over-excited. THAT would be getting ahead of ourselves.
Looks like the arrogance is back.

Cyclical nature of the game. We can't be invincibles forever. It's funny, 'cos if we were acting like Spurs aren't even our rivals, you'd be claiming we're arrogant and delusional. If we then actually take Spurs seriously as rivals, you start waffling on about how the mighty have fallen. So which is it?

I seem to remember quite clearly Spurs finishing above Arsenal 11 out of 12 seasons back in the late 50s, and the whole of the 1960s, including finishing above Arsenal nine years in a row. You need to learn your own clubs history before spouting your normal bollox.
