Why are there so many terrorist sympathisers around?

I am as far from a terrorist sympathiser as you will find, but if you read the quotes, the man is speaking in past tense:

"You might be surprised to know that the Mohammed that I knew was extremely kind, extremely gentle, extremely soft spoken, was the most humble young person that I knew."

And this man should be hung, drawn and quartered. Unfortunately our government will probably give him the same punishment as any murderer.

The nature of this enemy is that they do not mind dying....they will see it as some sort of glorious victory and will be rewarded in the after life with plentiful virgins or something.

Therefore to kill him would not be punishment to him. He should be made to suffer and no doubt an English prison for life would be suitable where the inmates will likely exact their own extra punishment once his ID is known

As the days of torture in the UK are long gone, I agree.

There should be a special law in place for terror relayed offences, in that you should not see the light of day again. Lock them up in a dark room, feed them once a day and that be it, no doctors, no showers, no interaction.

Quite a sick theme that runs throughout ISIS it seems. However it's a massive dilemma as to what to do with them if they are captured because in a way capital punishment would be giving these people what they desire in a way: to become a martyr of some sort and give up their lives in the name of God. All a load of hogwash really. Or the other alternative would be keeping him locked up securely but I assume that would take a lot of money due to the high security nature of the prison he'd probably be sent to. Disgusting to think people like this can openly kill someone and seemingly enjoy it.
