Around 30 hours ago I copied and pasted a right up from the bbc sports page with no link or recognition to the author. This was mainly because I'm lazy and can't spell very well. At no point has andbody asked for recognition and or payment for having used their work.

Some 18 hours later Cinci used another fans match review, which obviously was not his own work as he lives around 4000 miles away and spends his time dressed up as the wicked witch of the west and never claimed to have attended the match himself

Now, in the last hour or so, bute slanders him for not accrediting the author with payment or recognition and herb also has his quids worth and then calls other posters names !

While this is going on The Pundit remains his usual self

and halfy - couldn't agree more. as much as certain US posters have wound others up in the past, it was the UK contingent that dragged yr thread down again this time.

maybe post match deletes in order in future for the same petty digs? I wouldn't want to see anybody unable to join in with the thread during the game, but there really is no need to have the same nonsense every week singling out one person's C&P of the match report...which has been clearly signalled as just that.

Problem there is that if you delete on a match thread it means a complete ban from the thread, as I accidentally did once with halfy.

yea I was suggesting deleting AFTER the game had ended if ppl engage in the post match childishness. I wouldn't want to ban anyone from the actual match thread, and tbh it isn't during the game that most of the really petty hair-pulling happens

I think you must have a persecution complex, Cinci. MM gets mentioned by half a dozen people, and by you more than most, quite regularly. Even Aries joins in! I haven't mentioned him or his club for a number of weeks, maybe months now, however they've been performing.

Just checked... I announced that Wolves v Ipswich was to be live on Sky when the news broke, on 18th February.

Before that, I linked to a BBC article, on 8th January, which was interesting in that it was about MM the man, rather than any particular club. Other than that - nothing.
