Maybe he'll try to tempt Richard Gough out of retirement

At least he is honest enough to come out and say where we have faults.

More than dumb and dumber have done in the last 3 years of their regime.

We are also toothless up front. Miller is done, should never play for us again, and the others are woefully out of form. I think we should look to the youths again, as Gallagher and Hardie are both firing them in at that level.

Since the season is done, there isn't much to lose by throwing the likes of them and Sinammon/Gasparotto (if we can recall him) in, like we done with Murdoch and more recently, Walsh.

BJN I don't know the players you mention but what i disagree with you is your season is finished.

This is the most important season for your club in a long long time. I'm pretty certain your new board wouldn't share your sentiments.

Missing out on another year in the premier with the financial side of it and with the chance to aim for a Euro place.

I'd say the pressure is immense on McCall

Sinammon is the Scotland Under 19 first choice right back (And perhaps captain?) while Gasparotto is a full Canadian international.

And I do agree that they will want into the SPL asap, but I just don't see it happening this season. The rot has set in, and promotion just isn't happening. Hibs are the best footballing side in the league, and have hit a run of form, so we have no chance in beating them. As it stands, we have the form of a team fighting relegation, not one which should be looking to go up.

And we have no chance, assuming we go up, of competing for a Euro place next season.

I don't think you'll come up either and from what I've seen I agree Hibs look a really decent side. I watched your game with them on Dec 27th at ER before our turgid 0-0 with the might Ross.

While Rangers did look poor Hibs really looked a good side.

That said man for man your squad is at least as good as theirs. You may well have 2 play off ties to even reach the final play off but that should be huge motivation for everyone.

I'm caught in the middle. One of the Celtic fans wanting you back in the prem but at same time I always hope you're gonnae lose

At least some things never change

The squad on paper is good, but players have downed tools for a while, so that's why I don't see us getting promotion.

For whatever reason the big name players are hiding, it could be confidence it could be laziness, guys like law, wallace, Miller and mcculloch refuse to stick a foot in and tackle and win a ball, but it runs right through the team, the manager can't drop them because he has no replacement. Most people expected Law to have a good game yesterday as mccall was the man who brought him to Scotland, he is an imposter who refuses to win a ball in midfield. It is going to need a complete transformation to get into the play offs, I can't see it

Law was woeful and continually stood off his man, as did the rest of the team. Livi were the opposite and the was the difference. I can only think of mcgregor who was actually tackling during the match. It was amateur stuff and young Tom walsh was the only player I would give pass marks to

Vuckic Is a decent player curly but at times looked uninterested

Confidence is still low and it doesn't necessarily come back overnight. A bit of confidence and reorganisation could help us a lot.

At the risk of inducing heart attacks in some, Ian Black should come back into the team when fit.

Bh one thing about black is he doesn't hide, he isn't scared to win the ball in midfield, he just can't pass
Within no time after livie reorganised we reverted to the old long ball that has failed so miserably for the past 3 years

Mccoist has an awful lot to answer for.
He's gone now, but fook me we are left with a mountain to climb. It's still possible that we get promotion, but McCall needs to grow a huge pair and show mcculloch the fookin door as a player Miller needs to be y's he won't be starting he needs to get a new system in in time for the play offs

Id drop that can't mcculloch in a minute but the booze bag Zaliukas is no better

Black rarely gives the ball away. I won't be surprised if Stuart brings him back in.

Young Walsh has done quite well but I don't expect a huge influx of youngsters into the team.

For the first 20 mins yesterday we played with energy and purpose . If you brink back Black don't expect that to continue, the guy slows everything down to his snail pace!

This isn't a battle for kids, this is for the imposters who got us into it, I m delighted for young Tom, my mates lad, although his dad is a celtic supporter

The good thing at the start was the width we had with walsh on one side and vuckic on the other , but it all changed after 20 mins

Law mcculloch and wallace are guaranteed a start, Id bench the 3 fackers

Law should be dropped - he was shocking yesterday as he has been for months.

My worry is that McCall will be loyal to him.

Everything about the Rangers team is slow, laboured and totally bereft of style.

The boy Walsh had some nice moments in the game yesterday but also showed his niaivety at times.

Still, he was 100 times more effectual than McCulloch Law and Miller.

One guy I feel so sorry for is Nicky Clarke. The guy is always looking for he ball and making quite intelligent runs but no-one is brave enough to try and pick him out with a pass.

Instead we default to sideways or backwards passes. Law, at the moment is one of the worst offenders at that. And it's even worse when Black is in the team.

As others have said - McCall has his work cut out here
