I know I'm going to sound like I'm stating the bleeding obvious but Rory and Henrik Stenson are my picks this year.

Both Walker and Speith are capable - although their lack of major experience may count against them - but I fear both may have peaked just a touch too early. Both McIlroy and Stenson's game are perfect for Augusta with the big high draw they play and both are plating well but in my opinion haven't peaked just yet.

I have lumped money (and lost) on DJ for the last couple of years so I wont this year (which means he will probably run away with it).

A good outside bet is Brooks Koepka and for a high odds pace bet I'm going for Kevin Na.

Finally letting my heart rule my head I'll stick a small amount on Sergio. I mean he's bound to do it one year, surely......

Any Bubba fans among y'all? He has just won a poll of PGA players at the most disliked person.

How about Jordan Spieth?

Is it about time Jason Day won his first major?

Dustin Johnson and Fowler, and I think as an outside squeak Dubuisson could do well as one of the rookies.

Spieth is performing in line with betting odds.

I picked Spieth and Jason Day. Both are looking good after day 1.

If Carlsberg did cell mates Dustin Johnson would be Colin Montgomery's choice.......allegedly.

Looks like Spieth will make some money for me.

No sooner you said that he fecked one into the crowd, could cost him a few shots right here.

Still comfortable, but not as comfortable.

The masters needs a great Sunday, it's set up for It.

Drop one here Jordan and it's game on.

Brilliant recovery.

Still hope he drops 1 or tomorrow could be a little dull.

Be great to see tiger make a teeny early run as well, for a top 5.

One word Cinci...WOW.

Could still get interesting

Boy is good, lets see how his nerve holds tomorrow if Rose can put a bit of pressure on him when they pair up.

And Phil <ghosting>s.

Would be some Sunday if you took Jordan out of it.

He's very engaging is Speith.

Phil lurking behind could slightly worry Spieth. But, 4 strokes from second place Rosy is a nice cushion.

Halfway through, Spieth is looking well set, still holding a 5-stroke lead.

Golf is not an easy sport to bet on. Nice to win a few bucks. Thanks, Spieth. And, congratulations to you too.

Depressing that he is two years younger than me
