Europa all day long.

There are far too many excuses about the Europa Cup. Spurs have been nowhere near the competition for weeks now, and are playing their worse football of the season. To use the Europa Cup as an excuse for poor performances is a complete cop out. The team that wins the Europa Cup will also have played a full season of league fixtures, doubt you will hear any moaning from them.

The way Spurs are going at the moment though, they may not even qualify, which frankly would be criminal.

I just cannot stand the competition. I'd rather focus on the league and domestic cups.

I think the last few weeks have shown that even with only one game a week we're still rubbish

I am not arced either way, I can take the Europa or leave it. But if we do end up playing in it, then we have to manage it better by playing reserves and younger players until the KO stages.

Also, the Europa format is a complete farce, while CL failures are continued to be dropped into it at KO stage it will always remain a low priority.

Any team can have a bad day at the office following a week to prepare, it doesn't mean that Europa can't impact negatively on a league season. It's been shown on not just English teams but teams across Europe that it takes something out of their domestic league campaigns.

There will be the odd exceptions of course. Generally it's a bit of a nuisance of a competition unless you have an extremely strong squad or use it as a cup for your reserves, in which case you'll probably go out in the group stage and won't have to bother with it again.

that is so so bad.

Hopefully there's a fair few players who know their days at the club are numbered. The problem is that I highly doubt we'll recruit any good players in the summer. Just some useless bargain buys or overpriced British players.

You do realize we strive for "top 4" in order to get into Europe, right? Else this season has been mission-accomplished already, we have avoided relegation.

Is it right that 7th will get us Europa if it's a arsenal Liverpool fa cup final. I cannot see us finishing above saints or Liverpool now so if 7th gets us Europe then so be it
