Chronic ... if you accept that, lying down for 20 years, then .... its time you went and supported a different side, like, erm .... Chelsea!

makes no sense
"No sense"?
Does supporting a team that "concedes sloppy goals and gets poor results" make any sense?
You will die a disappointed old man supporting a team that "makes no sense".
OR
you will push for change!
i am a spurs fan. always have been. always will be
Then ... do wot you should ... PUSH FOR CHANGE!!
That's wot REAL fans do.
Flashy flibble
A pacey attacking option.

Yeah if only we had a player like Aaron Lennon on the books eh?
Did Lamela really have a good game yesterday? Hearing he got good reviews from some fans who said it was his best game for us.
Paxton,
I dont know where they're getting that from. Then again, if he was an actual 6/10 then that would certainly be on par with his previous best - or second best bar the QPR game back in August.
How he keeps getting picked i'll never know.

Yes, Lamela had a good game, never gave the ball away and used it well, played some key passes and could have had a goal or two but for a good save and not receiving the ball when in acres of space in front of goal. As usual his work rate was excellent also.
Rather interestingly, on combined goals and assists in the PL this season, Lamela is just 1 behind Coutinho, whom the media cream their knickers over and who got into the team of the year.
Interesting statistic that, for all those who repeatedly claim he is rubbish.

I think this further proves that stats don’t really tell us the full picture. Didn’t some Swansea player have a better pass accuracy rate than anyone in the whole of Europe a season or 2 ago, beating the entire Barcelona team (for example)?
It’s not so much the 1 contribution in every 6 or 7 games that he should be judged on, it’s his (poor) all round play, and (poor) team performance up both ends, in the majority of games.
I’m not sure Coutinho deserved to be in the team of the year but to compare him to Lamela because a couple of match stats are similar is a little misleading IMO.
He wasn’t god awful against City but it shows how bad things have been when some posters are content and pleased with a 6/10 performance. Better? Maybe be. Good enough? Nowhere near.
Sorry.
AGREED CHICKEN....
at one point sunday...we had decent possesion on the half way line....the ball is rolled to him.....and he misplaces a simple 10/15 yrd forward pass......move breaks down....unacceptable that......
