Crux is Cellino appears to want to stay on. He's really hoping he can keep the club and if he has to sell at least stay on as Chairman. This appears to be holding things up a bit. Problem is who is going to let him run the club with the threat of a ban looming?

I've also just been told to expect more good news from Cellino this week. He's on a charm offensive evidently.

I also think that part of the reason he let things slide whilst he was away was so that the FL thought the club couldn't do without him.

He could have easily let Matt Child run the day to day stuff but he walked after being undermined by Umbers - who must have been taking his orders from MC.

IMO - all a master plan by Cellino. He's no mug and knows how to manipulate things.

I agree Eric. Lessons are being learnt & quickly. Pearson is a good experienced guy, let's hope he is here for the long term.
