I'd drop him for his terrible hair cut and attempt at facial hair
There is a difference between tight and suicidal
yeah ,Bell is quite an ugly albino.....drop him...will ya!
It might or might not have been on but to leave your team-mate high and dry is unforgivable.
Bell was not standing, he was down on one knee fully stretched forward having played a sweep shot. The ball hit short leg and bounced 5 yards. Prior was entirely at fault.
Agreed Hopefor - as I said - in the context of the situation - quick runs were needed but not mindless "help yourself to my wicket" runs
I agree with "hopeforthebest". Bell was in no position to start a quick run. Even if he was Prior still had to be the one to sacrifice his wicket due to Bell having batted as long as he had and scoring quickly. There are quick runs and "will we even cross" quick runs.
As for Prior and the window I wouldn't be suprised if England's slow batting (in the context of the match) expecially Cook's the hour before lunch was still on his mind.
In the interest of team spirit if your team-mate runs so should you. The only exception to this is if your team-mate is a definate rabbit.
In the context of the match Prior was more useful to the team than Bell!
It's quite clear you didn't see the run out or you wouldn't be talking rubbish.
Incidentally Bell made his fastest ever half century, so your suggestion that Prior's wicket was more important is also nonsense.
Actually on that subject - Bells 50 was excellent - for all the stuff thrown about ref KP's talent - needing quick runs with 8 wickets in hand should of suited KP perfectly - Bell gave a masterclass
hftb...I've seen Bell scratching about since his arrival in the national team. His lack of bottle has been painful to watch and I'm sure you can't believe that Bell would be regarded as a better prospect in a run chase than Prior who has always played selflessly for the team.
So now we know, it's your long held predudice against Bell that gets your juices flowing.
Yes - drop Bell. He scores only when some else in the top order has scored and the team is generally doing good. Cannot play in pressure situations.
