They are pests, but because they're cute and fluffy, people generally don't mind them unless personally affected.
If they had two heads and slimy skin, there'd have been a national outcry.

Oh okay, well lets all sit and field and sing kumbaya while the animals do what they want.

I'm not saying kill them, necessarily!
But they are pests and they do cause issues - I was just making the point that a lot of people base their decision about what we should do on whether it has fur and looks 'cuddly'!
I've seen foxes in the middle of the afternoon round are way. There's a piece of land under a flyover where they congregate. Couldn't sleep one night,so I took the dog out for a walk at around 4am. I came across this scrawny looking fox in the park. It followed me right round the park and all the way home,I think it had its eyes on my dog (Jack Russell). It wouldn't go until I fed it.
They are pests, but because they're cute and fluffy, people generally don't mind them unless personally affected.
--------------------
When they were living in my neighbours garden, you could see the babies in the morning just playing in the garden and they are cute. My neighbour now has an Alsatian, no more foxes in his garden.
I would get a dog, but I hate them 's too.
"It wouldn't go until I fed it."
Try this:
"It wouldn't go until I shot it"
One scenario is less likely to involve a repeat performance
See foxes everyday at work, site has plenty of them

Westie breed was breed for hunting in the highlands of Scotland and believe me they are more than capable of killing a fox

I always thought they were rabbit dogs. Maybe they're a bit bigger than I think

Foxes wander round all the time round my way. City foxes. Orrible little rodents. Usually shoot them with an air rifle, but if I get close enough I boot them in the head.
I'm against the re-introduction of fox hunting though. Dealing with city rodents is a different matter.

You want to be careful one doesn't sink it's teeth into you, they carry all sorts.
Was at my brothers in South London last weekend, saw a couple there.

Get a grip, you weirdo.
It's a fair point, foxes are very fast and pretty good at camouflaging themselves. I don't think I've ever been close enough to kicking one, and I certainly wouldn't want to.
How would you feel if I kicked your dog/cat/rabbit/hamster?

Foxes walk past humans all the time. That's part of the problem. They've grown far too brave.

Pigeons are getting too brave also. They walk between humans and sometimes expect you to move out the way for them.

Some idiots on our site a putting food out for them, they've become unafraid of people now and will walk straight up to you
I wonder if people will still think they're cute when they kill your baby.
