I'm gonna say it, Feds18 Titles will never be beaten...
its an insane amount. Legend
Rafas 9 French open titles is just bonkers! Legend
Novaks 1 defeat all season a couple years back was mind blowing. Legend
Andy Murray, the greatest Brit tennis player of all-time! Legend.
we have been truly blessed this last decade.....

Djokovic will probably end his career with more wins than losses over both Nadal and Federer. He might not reach the same number of majors (Might catch Nadal) but to have that record is incredible.

Very true, which makes each of their individual achievements so great. For Murray to win GS, in this era is remarkable, given the British record.

History will look at these kindly, because at each one of those players have set phenomenal records

Man its just sad to see decline in Nadal for me not even as a Nadal fan but fan of tennis in general.I just want Rafael Nadal to at least win Australian Open one more time and I am almost sure that he might win 1 or 2 more French Opens in his career but even that is not as certain to happen as it looked even 1 year ago!
I will miss seeing Rafael Nadal at his best and I think he has been carrying an injury this year! Also Nadal should leave his coach Tony and get another one to make him gain his competitive edge, mental toughness and rediscover ruthless aggression. Also he needs to be more attacking against big players and learn how to win points more quickly and rely less on high percentage play!
Stringer Federer has won 17 Grand Slams not 14 Grand Slams so there you go!Still Federer is the greatest tennis player of all time and as for Nadal he still is in top 8 all time best tennis players in men for sure!

Djokovic will break Federer's record. He will finish on 20 grand slams, nobody is close to him and he's only getting better. His only true rival is Murray.

i just feel we have the Tennis equivalent of , Duran, Hagler, Sugar Ray, and Hearns....
With Fed leading the line... ( i didn't say 14.... he's won 18 hasn't he?'

Fed - Sugar Ray
Novak - Hearns
Rafa - Duran
Murray - Hagler

man it's friday and i'm on the sauce, enjoying the Tennis....

De Gea I do not count any player competitive unless he is an actual threat to a main contender and the way Nadal and Federer have played in last 4 Grand Slams its fair to say that they are not even any competitive to Djokovic sadly!
Stringer Federer has won 17 and not 18 Grand Slams and Rafael has won 14 Grand Slams!

ok... just the 17.. Fed is a bum... lol...
i don't have a favourite with these 4... i love just watching them go to battle... just appreciating greatness..
and Serena of course....

Titliv87 you are wrong to a certain extent. When was Djokovic dominating Nadal and Federer at their peek?He only dominated Nadal in two seasons of his peek but still lost most matches in Grand Slams against him!As for Federer he has not been at his peak even since 2012 when he won Wimbledon!

Now they have stopped match 20 minutes earliy and that has surely killed the momentum of Andy Murray. Now Djokovic will come fresh again and again thrash Murray and win the semi-final!Damn!

Well said Guvnor but problem is that Djokovic fanboys won't admit that!Yes Djokovic is good but now Nadal is on decline especially as he has been actually carrying an injury since the start of this season which is obvious.
As for Federer he is the greatest tennis player in history yes he is even better than Rod Laver despite him winning 4 Grand Slams in one season twice!

OK Ttliv87 man fine!Nadal is only 1 year older than Djokovic but he has been affected by many injuries and has been the most injured player out of Federer,Djokovic,Murray and Nadal!
Anyway as you are a tennis fan can you tell me why has ja606 tennis board become so quite even during Grand Slams and in general since the last 2 years?

tennis fans gradually left and others just stopped commenting

De Gea tell me I used to trawl old ja606 tennis forum and there were loads of tennis people giving opinions on tennis with proper knowledge not just football wums where have they gone, they were all following murrays matches as expected, but giving comments about other players on the tour as well, was quite interesting, not just a go with the flow glory hunter type quote where they bum up the big three like they would support chelsea, man u or arsenal in the football, but proper tennis fans, they must have went to comment somewhere???

i have no idea really, wish they were here.
maybe they went to not606 or 606v2

When the old 606 ended all the people split off into one of the many replacements and gradually the boards have had less activity over the years.

Don't know why people wouldn't have come to this site, better than the old 606 in many ways.

Well said LocoLiverpool and MurrayinWimbledon.

MurrayinWimbledon what do you think of the following opinion?

Cheers for info De Gea, and totally agree Loco I would have thought it would have been an easy direct transition for these tennis fans just to stay with the same set up as its pretty much the same not over complicated, unless there,s a better site out there that's particularly meant for tennis fans that's better, I can only think that when the gap between 606 ending and the new site starting these people found another site, but surely some would have stayed or at least came to this site to comment from time to time as well as the other site, to be honest I would have thought they would have commented on both sites anyway, I mean I cant believe that not at least one or two of them would have waited to see what happened to this site first and then kept on this site, then the rest if having moved would have still contributed with the odd comment here and there to the members who stuck to this site, I wish I had taken a note of their usernames at the time although they would probably have changed some may have stayed the same and the rest could be found from there??
