Surely we've come to a point where the Terminator franchise needs to move away from Arnie.

Personally I've only liked Arnie in one Terminator film and that was the original.Playing the stone dead killing machine against a human battle worn future solidier is so much more interesting and engaging than machine vs machine.

let's be honest here, there is no terminator without arnie. I'm willing to give him one last shot.

Arnie is more iconic to me than the series but i can understand from a mainstream perspective he goes hand in hand with it

I remember not particularly wanting Arnie in Terminator Genysis either but the fact is he's in this movie so I'm very curious to know if they will CGI de-age him as at this stage that's about the only thing that would remotely excite me. Even then not that much.

The thought of a 70 year old Arnie lumbering around the screen is beyond boring and we already saw that in Genysis anyway.

Didn't see this before. James Cameron said that Arnie could be playing a human character in the new movie, ie the original guy that all the T-800's are based on:
