Just saw Plane because i needed to turn off my brain and see some action but i was pleasantly surprised. It was quite decent and felt myself really getting into it at times. Gerrard Butler is kinda on a roll. Greenland was decent too.

I don’t want every movie to live long in my memory and pose questions to think over or rewatch. Sometimes you just want a mindless action that you enjoy while it’s on, which I did in fairness with Plane.

It's basically a study of how people relate to power, using comedy as a vehicle and without coming across as being overly philosophical.

Watching this made me want to explore Östlund's work further. I found this 10-minute short on YouTube, which is also enjoyed a lot. Won the top award at the Berlin film festival. Shame I couldn't find a version with fewer ads, but it's all I've got.

Funny, I hadn't heard that but Lord of the Flies did actually cross my mind at one point in the film - though I must say it was only very fleetingly. The film is blissfully child-free.

Hmmm….only saw a sec but ill watch a little later. Feel like all exorcism films are so recycled. Have little hope but having Russell gives me a tiny sliver.

The one that’s gone all quiet is Salems lot. They should’ve had a trailer out by now

April 21st apparently it’s released. And still no trailer? Bizarre

Must have accepted its awful will try to go off last min hype trailers with no screenings beforehand.
