Morning folks. On a slightly different note, can't wait for Wimbledon to start tomorrow. Some decent sport to watch as well as see our squad gradually develop with new signings.
My opinion on ronnie is, to be fair he had Celtic playing well after a very shaky start. He is unproven in the champions league and that's where he will be judged this year and find most pressure especially early doors.
I think he is also going to get pressure from setting achieving the same if not higher standard as last year , ie if he does not win the double or treble it is deemed as failure in the eyes of the fans.
Last year the fans gave him some slack as it was a transitional year.
He set a decent standard last year to be fair, and he has some problems this year trying to replace key players if they option to leave and head down south.
The champions league qualifiers will be a real test for him and the squad.
Just my opinion.

I'm really surprised to read that Celtic fans won't boo Deila if they fail to reach CL group stage. You should be expecting that given the size of club, support and budget.
Given the skelping from legia then perhaps one shouldn't expect qualification to the CL, but I do think the champions of Scotland have every right to expect to beat Maribor to qualify for the champions league, the teams in the qualifying rounds are beatable and to go in with an attitude of we are just a wee Scottish club is wrong. Ronny and his management team never shut up about the CL therefore I think it's part of his remit and expectations of his bosses to say anything else is just delusional

Curly you do know you will be accused of posting complete and utter sh!!te by our Timmy fiends, tosh McKinley today states that Ronny is the new jock Stein and will bring home European glory, this sits comfortably with some of them and of course Ronny failed because it's too hard to qualify for the CL when you are a Scottish club now
I've heard we won't sign Scott Allan this summer.
At best it'll be a pre contract in January and look for a reduced negotiated fee for taking him in the January window but only if Warburton thinks he will improve the team he's building.

Glasgow fitba is a mental goldfish bowl, guys.
Ronny and Warburton,Rangers and Celtic, are just doing their jobs, and it is a fekin sport,to be enjoyed as fun...............it is not life and death.
I think some folk look too deeply into things, especially rivals situations, but who cares, and will it change diddly.
Light up a fat wan,and watch cricket.
Bluebell I was just pointing out that Ronny has a bit to go to prove he is the real deal, getting into the champions league without the help of dodgy paper work and hold his own would go some way to proving that, he does talk a good game of course and needs to curtail that a bit
