Yeah, fair enough Laudrup, forgot about Gordon- but that situations is somewhat different given that he was free, that he is a goalkeeper (where you can generally play longer) and that he was without a club and wouldn't have excessive wage demands.

I cannot envisage Lawwell forking out money for a player with no re-sale value and who is on Premier League wages, especially when other positions are more important.

I can see McGeady leaving Everton, but I doubt it will be to us- nor would I want it to be to us.

I think we could have got him on a free but we paid for him in the January instead. To answer your question about when did he get so bad. Lets ask when has he ever been more than a £1 million pound player when wearing an Everton strip? He has had the odd decent spells in some games but not much more imo.
