Strange hoe many LFC fans label Borini as 'hardworking', yet he's clearly more than happy to sit on his ars and watch the money pour in. Parasite.

He's likely to be on good undeserved money at Liverpool and everywhere else who are interested in him won't even pay anything close to what he is on.

Someone will take him, probably at a low price but we just need to move him on Ings has taken his place.

This is the other side of the transfers. The boy is within his rights to sit and take the money; not his fault br bought him on a good contract.

Its like sterling in reverse, we want him gone asap but the player wants to stay.

To be fair, LFC could easily get rid. Stick him with the U21's for training, he'll soon get fed up and want a move.

We gave him a long contract for a player Rodgers thought was the bees knees.

He is obviously on very good money, and is young enough to sit it out.

He'd still get decent money at another club and it must be painfully obvious to him that he won't play with us.

I don't get why so many players are willing to just sit around and not play and take the money, yeah that sounds great but they will still get great money at another club and they would play.

When I was playing full 11 a side and I didn't start it drove me mad, these lads are training all week to play on a Saturday, says allot about the man if they're willing to waste a career just not playing.

It's still early on in the transfer window. If the above link isn't bs then there's still plenty of time for him to find another club.

He might think Rodgers could get sacked soon and another manager might give him a chance.

Always amused me, the hypocrisy of fans. Sterling doesn't sign an extension and they get out their pitchforks baying for blood. Anowther player wants to stay and that makes him somewhat pathetic?

He's every right to see out his contract just like a club can expect a player to see it out when he's playing out of his skin, ala Suarez!

Aslong as the club sign another striker regardless of any moving on and then take it as a bonus if they do, I'm happy!

i can certainly sympathise with the guy's stance last season, when he didn't want to be sold to qpr/sunderland.

imagine if a young english player gets sold to ac milan, barely gets a chance to play, gets shipped out on loan to lecce, and then milan want to sell him to sassuolo....he's perfectly entitled to say "hang on, i moved to italy to play for the club of baresi, and maldini, and george weah etc, but i didn't leave my home country to be dumped down in lecce".

and as john brown says, you can't have it all ways all of the time, demand absolute loyalty from the player both in staying at your club and in being shipped out when the club decides, whatever your wishes.

still, you'd think by now the guy would be able to take a hint!

But surly playing football is the most important thing, and he's missing crucial playing time at a vital stage of his development.

You'd think so but look at it another way!

His wife is from the area and they've just got married, they are obviously settled in the area and maybe he doesn't want to go to one of his old clubs rivals.

I do think he'll go but it may drag on!

He's never played a lot of football though.

He is used to not playing because of regular injuries.

He has also had a lot of moves.

He has just got married I think and probably wants a bit of stability on good money.

The modern footballer knows that playing isn't the be all and end all. Reputations can be built very quickly on very little football.

If he goes back to Italy in 2 years on a free he gets a signing on fee, plays 10 games in Italy scores a few and probably gets back in the Italy squad.

It's a fickle business.

Lets sell him to everton

I thought his agent said recently that he felt he was trapped and wanted out?

posted on 7/7/15

I know it's easier said than done but I'd offer him plus £20-25m for Benteke if he wants to stay in England

Can you even imagine Arouna's meltdown in here if that happened

His agent has already said that Borini has accepted that he doesn't have a future and needs to move on this summer.

All that article says is that he wants to stay in England rather than sign for the bitter rivals of one of his ex-clubs!

Seriously do people just expect him to accept the first offer that comes along?! He'll be gone this summer.

Maybe if we sign another striker he will leave, but with Sturridge injured and the other options Mario, Ings and Origi he might feel he can get a chance in pre season and then you never know what can ahppen.

with your awful strike force of course he fancys his chances
