Moussa Sissoko is an average footballer so you can cross that off.

--------

you don't think he is an upgrade on mason? I disagree
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Look at it this way, Sissoko isn't going to help us improve in any way, so why block Masons development for a player that really offers no real improvement? or if there is any improvement, its slight.

Mason has scope to improve and I would rather we stick with Mason until we can bring in real quality, and I wasn't impressed by the attitude of the Newcastle players last season so would rather we stayed clear.

Huddlestone has played in Spurs teams that don't concede lots of goals. Open teams too.

There would be games where itd be very good for us to have a player like him who could sit right on top of the centre backs, splitting them, while Bentaleb is pushed further forward.

At present, the alternative is....well we don't really have one do we

I also like the Scottish left back at Hull, Robertson.

I honestly don't see too much of a future for Davies at left back for us. Not the way Poch plays. The fullbacks have to be up and down like a hooers drawers, and he doesn't have the explosive pace needed. Shame because he's actually a good player, just very ill suited to Poch.

Yes he was very lucky to be given a chance as a promising youth to play alongside the likes of Modric, Parker, King etc. Since those days he has proven not to be good enough and he has no place in a club like Spurs any more

Huddlestone was our leading central midfield player when we qualified for the champions league, you may be young but the team was lucky to have him in that form, as Redknapp managed him well that season (as did Jol before) but we where lucky to have him.

Also don't forget when we faced Young Boys in the champions league, it was Huddlestone that changed the game and stopped us getting humiliated, without that performance we wouldn't have saved that game and gone onto the QF.

Patr1ck i recall some sound performances from him for sure but we are talking 5 years ago when he was a promising talent versus where he is at today, bigger and slower than ever & relegated to the 2nd tier with his new team whom HRH seems to want to raid in order to improve Spurs

Yeah I get that, just saying its easy to forget how important he was to our team but since he has moved on, he has declined, although I remember when he initially moved to Hull, he was MOTM every week, on Match of the day they where raving about his ability and then all of a sudden he turned crap.

Thats why Hudd needs to be managed correctly, otherwise he gets lost and looks like a mediocre player.

Are relegated players off the cards then? Bettercsend Trippier back I suppose. Best not bid for Austin either.

Of course he'd improve the SQUAD. We currently have one player who is remotely defensive in that position that can pass a ball with any accuracy - Bentaleb. It's a glaring hole in the squad

He is better than both Capoue and Stambouli have ever been for us. So yes, of course it'd be an improvement

Not every signing has to be a glory one. That's the problem with Spurs fans.

Wide Forward - Yannick Bolasie - Rapid, full of tricks and can add that needed pace we miss.

Not a snowball in H-ll's chance.
But it's nice to know you rate him

Don't think Levy is prepared to shell out the best part of £65m for them, regardless of how much PL experience they've got.

We do need an experienced Parker/Gallarse/VDV type signing to compliment our long list of exciting youngsters.

this. cambiasso would be perfect

yea it would be nice to get somebody with top level experience like Cambiasso or Carrick as HRH mentioned earlier. Carrick will surely be on the fringes of that squad now
