Massively regressed since then, with the money Rodgers is spending he should be challenging every year, not having one flukey run when he has a world class player and 15 games less to play than everyone else.

Its only been one season since we came second, so it's a bit early to say we've massively regressed. We came second with one world class player and less games. United scraped fourth with a better squad on paper and they played even less games.

It's a good question - do you rate LVG? Personally I think he's a shít head, done nothing of note for years, outdated and indecisive tactics, throwing crazy amounts of cash at his squad. In this day and age I'd rather have Rodgers, I don't think he's a bad coach, he's actually a good one I just think he's out of his depth as a manager at a club of Liverpool's size, whereas LVG is just an arrogant dinosaur.

Fair enough

Though it's too early to say BR is out of his depth. Sure, he's made plenty of mistakes, but there's still a good chance he can grow into the role, as long as he learns from those mistakes. Generally, it's seems he does.
