I'm predicting Arsenal to win it, with a game to spare.

They play the best football and have lots of good players in their prime or entering it.

Not too worried about City tbh. Unless they buy two more top players. Arsenal already have a better 1st team & better squad than City, and Pellegrini isn't as good as Wenger.

Chelsea will be the biggest threat, but teams seem to be figuring them out. If you defend in numbers, Chelsea are quite easy to contain. Don't have the goals from the wingers & MFs to provide a varied threat.

Costa only played 26 Prem games

So your analysis is Absolute Twaddle

Chelsea will win it, their cyborg players and that Eva women mean injuries won't deplete their squad, Pellegrini will need to buy more players to catch them, it's too early to say Utd have done "great business" as we have no idea how all these new players will do, can't see them challenging for the league this season.
Arsenal won't win the league unless they at very least get a top striker. (Wenger will retire before we get one of them again) Can't see Liverpool or Spurs making top 4.

Prediction

Chelsea
City
Arsenal/Utd
Arsenal/Utd
Spurs
Liverpool
Everton
Saints

Also, Arsenal seem to have City's number right now.

Last season

Arsenal 3-0 City, Wembley
Arsenal 2-2 City, Emirates (City scored late equaliser)
City 0-2 Arsenal, Etihad

Why do Arsenal fans always think they have better teams than the teams that continually finish above them?

No point responding to the bit about Arsenal as it looks like an obvious wum attempt. pelegrini is the weakest manager of the top 4 teams, I would even have Rodgers & Poch ahead of him so I'm not sure what the OP is really trying to say.

I actually think Liverpool will surprise a few. They actually play decent footie and with better defending & luck will perform much better than most people expect.

City should be favourites when you look at their squad but they have a shocking defense & a manager who is more inflexible than Wenger himself. If Aguero, Yaya, Silva & Kompany have a great season then it won't matter how much pellegrini messes up.

United will be competitive but trying to incorporate a bunch of new players is not easy. Can't see them winning it.

Chelsea are the overwhelming favourites if the key plays play at least 70% of the games. Their replacement players are so weak that keeping their top players fit is crucial.

Tottenham are irrelevant

can't believe we got a mention to be honest

It's going to be a light tighter than last season, for whoever wins it.
On paper, the Top 4 from last season are not far off each other but i think it's going to boil down to the things like injuries, who's got the most form player, how some of the "smaller" teams have stepped up etc
This is why i believe the PL is the most entertaining, there are no guarantees anywhere, you have to be on top your game virtually every week.

Amazing this forum. Should be called "JA606 if you're a bitter c^nt and can't join a sensible debate without resorting to defending anything objectively said about your team without acidic replies - this is the forum for you"

Started off a decent topic for debate, fairly quickly turned into a mard-ar$e reply thread.

Man Utd are 4th favourites for some reason despite having great against big teams and performances and recruited the most top quality players.
