I really hope we do field a fairly young side though and gets the likes of Graham and eno a game.

ALF will need game time as well.

Sorry Cinci no can do. At 28 ALF's an old crock and isn't getting anywhere near gem's young and hungry squad

We should play a strong side and take the game seriously. Feckin using cup games as practice matches.

Hope to see Ojo, Wallace and Le Fondre start on Tuesday. And be good to see Ronan, Deslandes and Graham.

Ikeme
Doherty, Stearrman, EEL, Deslandes
Graham, Ronan, Price, Ojo
RVLP, Le Fondre

Sorry for putting a couple of pensioners in there Gem

Our second string should be more than good enough cyp and no better time to use fringe players than in a cup game like this.

Would be delighted with djs team playing Tuesday but its unlikely.

I agree in principle with that sentiment Cyp butin actual fact 8 out of the 11 in my Y & H squad played in the Championship last season.

Winning becomes a habit so let's say we win at Blackburn, play the same side in the cup game (injuries allowing) and let's create a winning mentality.

It would also be nice to have a decent cup run as this hasn't happened for a long time.

I agree with those sentiments cyp. Winning never does a team any harm in my opinion but losing in any competition can put a dent in the confidence of the players involved. We have had year after year of poor results against lower league teams in cup competitions and I don't think it's a good thing for players or supporters

You do if you've entered a young goat competition.

It is good to find a winning mentality, but it is also vital to give fringe players game time, and where better than Tuesday night.

Is there a young goat comp on Tuesday night then?

No idea Peggy, we tend to lean toward donkey shows in the recent past.

The U21's kick off their season on Saturday as well, so I don't see many stepping up and playing in the cup game on Tuesday. KJ will more than likely play those first team squad members who didn't start against Blackburn. I do see both La Fondre and Ojo starting.

Deslandes, Graham and Ronan all feature for the U21's and will more than likely start, so I see no point in playing them on Tuesday too.

Ikeme, Doherty, Stearman (c) Ebanks-Landell, Golbourne, Van La Parra, Coady, McDonald, Ojo, La Fondre and Eno for me.
