They said 'the big 5', not last season's top 5. Dry your eyes mate, it's not that big a deal.

posted on 14/8/15

Why doesn't that surprise me.

posted on 14/8/15

I heard the words top 5 but what does it matter. Just think it is a total lack of respect.

Liverpool cannot be considered any more part of a big five now than any other team. they have not won the league for a quarter of a century.

Well I don't usually care to comment much on Liverpool and this article is about Sky Sports so you can take your small man syndrome comments back to scouse land and shove it up yours.

Coutinho

At least you are allowed to comment on the Spurs board, your own board banned all opposition posters. Now that is a small man syndrome.

I actually considered writing an article on the Spurs board about this issue yesterday.

The sky sports ad promoting the weekend's games said 'all five Premier League heavyweights' were in action - referring to Utd, Arsenal, City, Chelsea & Liverpool.

Given that Spurs have finished ahead of Liverpool in 5 of the last 6 seasons, it seemed disrespectful.

You obviously give a Shiite, otherwise you would not have commented.

Meh. It's an advert. If it bothers you that much, ring up sky and complain. Maybe even cancel your subscription.

Yep, as others have said a total lack of respect to Spurs and the expected arce licking of Pool continuing in earnest.

No surprise really, Sky pull Pool off come what may, when in reality they are just the same level as Spurs, sickening and totally unprofessional from Scouse Sports.

Of course, closet Pool fans like Ledley`s knee surgeon would consider this acceptable.

We have a worldwide following and the most fans in the UK with man united. Sky looks how many viewers they can get and not whether you have finished above us 5 times out of 6.

The name Liverpool is also bigger than spurs and there you get everything you want to know.

I know the truth hurts but get over it lad.

No, it is because other fans are sick and tired of the constant Liverpool this and Liverpool that infestation in the media, the Pool loving media can not accept that Pool are no longer the football powerhouse they once were, they cling onto past glories like shart to a blanket. Tiresome to say the least.

The truth is they got their facts wrong. They can present and advertise how they want but they should really be respectful and get it right.

If viewing figures and support is what Liverpool fans are taking comfort from this season then I suppose every little helps.

Sandy,

I give a shiite that we care so much about the media.

we sound like a bunch of little girls all butt hurt that the precious media isn't rimming Tottenham
----------------------------------------------------------------------

A bit O.T.T.

I do not want a media love in for spurs, just a bit of respect. I don't care very much often that the media are this way but I am entitled to express what I think about it if I feel like it.

It's probably got something to do with viewing figures in Liverpool.

This is why they kiss their .... so much. Couldn't care less. Getting fed up of sky coverage, it's reminding me of how wrestling was promoted in the 90s. All hype, which is fine when you're simple minded or young but now it's just superficial. The last straw for me was Henry and the hype surrounding his arrival... how embarrassing for a simple pundit!

Quite happy for the mantel of big 5 not to be thrown in our direction every 5 minutes as it takes the pressure off us.

We are not even considered a threat to top 4 which is great!

Look what expectation did to Liverpool last season and the season before!

posted on 15/8/15

I too don't give a toss about Sky either, but if they are going to state something as a fact, then they should get it right. Sky are all about hype anyway, and the love in for teams like Liverpool is cringeworthy, hence why I only ever tune in now if Spurs are on air.

They are like a mouthpiece for two or three clubs, and I suspect plenty are cancelling subscriptions and turning off with the boredom of hearing the same old dross about the same teams 24/7.

I remember when the Liverpool media bandwagon was in full force last 2 seasons in March then they had to have a slice of humble pie. Liverpool goal difference was even worse then spurs last season

posted on 15/8/15

I just find it makes it all that much sweeter when they faulter as they always do and the pundits go into meltdown 😂

posted on 15/8/15

According to the Pool loving media, every year is their year, every year they are genuine top 4 and title contenders regardless of how far off the pace they are.

Sky just tell the deluded plastic masses what they want to hear, the last thing they want is for the hoards of plastic Pool glory supporters who jumped on the 70`s and 80`s bandwagon to start cancelling subscriptions.
