forgive me if i dont get the point of this article, but you have just planted a seed for cfc fans to moan about fabregas then asked them not to do it

is this a technical scapegoat article but done in such a way...........
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I see he is already becoming the easy target fro some Chelsea fans....I think this is unfair and that is the point I am making..............but I do and have always thought he is overated..

Way I figure it, he lacks the tactical freedom in Chelsea's CM to express himself fully. Between '05 and '10, you wouldn't have seen a better playmaker in England who could both control games and create the chances.

never really hurt us in all that time........can't remember ever hurting United either...whenever i watched him in those games he always seemed to go awol

Our 3-1 win over Chelsea in the '10/11 season, he and Walcott were outstanding. He was the best player on the pitch in our League Cup final game in '07. He was MOTM in 3 consecutive games against Man U in '06/07 (home and away wins) and the 2-2 draw at the Emirates in '07/08. That's off the top of my head. You can be forgiven for not remembering it as vividly as I do cos I'm sure you had bigger fish to fry. Just don't claim as a matter of fact that he "never" imposed himself against Man U or Chelsea when you clearly have no idea.

The problem with Fabregas is that he has too much defensive responsibility in our current formation. He needs 2 CMs behind him to free him up to do what he does best, which is set up Costa.

Azpi - Stones - Zouma - Baby Ramen

Fabregas - Matic - Oscar

Pedro - Costa - Hazard

He also needs a #10 in front with two defensive CMs behind so he's free to be at his best.

Not sure why you're worked up that I'm contradicting the inaccuracy of your comment. Especially as you said it matter-of-factly like it wasn't up for debate.

Fabregas deserves the stick he is getting. Been awol since January.

He can't sprint very good, that ain't coming back. If he's on form passing wise, play 4-3-3 with Willian running alongside him, full bollox to the windmill.

If not get pog and go back to a power mid 3.

This option appeals to me greatly. A midfield trio of Matic, Pogba and Cesc would have everything.

We've discarded players who've been playing better than Fab. Baffling how he keeps getting so much game time.

We can't afford to hope his potential surfaces for this long. Time to try alternatives

Was joking. As good as he is he just doesnt seem to work in our system as much as we'd like him to. Matic isnt quite at that place where he can control the entire midfield on his own. So Fab can be given free reign to do as he pleases.

The lazy thing for Chelsea fans to do now is jump on his bad form and start scapegoating him because he used to play for Arsenal...............be better than that!
--------------
I'm not going to be lazy then. I'm not going to jump on the bandwagon because he used to play for Arsenal. I'm going to jump on the bandwagon because he's been so useless, and has a turning circle slower than a fully laden ship at sea. He looks like he's carrying about 2 stone too much right now. He used to use the ball so quickly - the ball would zip all over the place with interchanging between him, Oscar, Hazard etc. but he seems to be so slow and ponderous nowadays. I know he has incredible ability - but he needs to get a lot fitter in order to get back to form. He definitely plays better when Oscar is there - when they share that central responsibility. But at the moment he seems like a bit of a liability in the middle. Players just brush him off the ball - he has no strength. Mourinho obviously has a lot of trust in Fabregas - but at the moment it seems misplaced. I hope he improves soon.

Terrible article. Terrible views. Earlier I done an article that stated my reasons for believing fabregas has been a weak link in our side, which he has. To say that's because he played for arsenal or anything else is just ridiculous and in fact uses that As a scapegoat for defending him if there's such a thing.

I will reply properly in due course. But just terrible. Agree with blue 2 to some extent

so if this was indeed in response to my article which showed good points and evidence to my reasoning that fabregas is a problem in this side then it is a poor one.

you said the following:
nd true to form he has not impressed for Chelsea in most of our games against the top 6 teams.

But when on form what he does do is make a difference when we play agst the teams in the bottom 12 or 14 in the table and the fact is we would not have won the title last season without him.

This is not good enough, and will not be good enough this season. Last season he was amazing first half of the season but he dwindled quite spectacularly and looks to be going downhill too. Remember were waiting for oscar to recapture his form and thats been over a year now too. I even said in my article fabregas was the main reason we won the league last year. But that does not excuse his faults.

He leaves matic and our CBs and RB exposed. He cant get around the pitch and its a shame because he sees the passes which few can. (that ball out to willian I also mentioned in my article) His passing at times is a joy. But he is also lapse and gives the ball away due to weakness, lack of stamina and speed and basic lack of concentration.

Also I have never underrated fabregas due to his ties with arsenal or any other reason. But I could near enough guarantee that this team

--------costa
hazard oscar pedro
-----matic willian------

would be a lot more solid defensively...it doesnt have to be willian but I think that would be a good suit because he couldnt hit a cows ass with a banjo.

I reckon Ivan and matic's form(dont know bout ivan) would improve dramatically with fab out the team. Not scapegoating, just the hard truth sadly

"When he was playing for Arsenal I never understood the hype over Fabregas."

If you didn't see what made Cesc back in those days when he was comfortably the best midfielder in the Prem then clearly you don't know much.
