I've never heard of him , do you think he will be able to hack the prem ?

I'll reserve judgement until he's signed and played a few games, like Lamela (who I did watch quite a few times at Roma) he was class.

If history has shown us anything it's good players don't fit some clubs and some leagues, can't remember the last time a Korean player has excelled (aside from Park at United) in the PL

He's played against English teams in the champions league and always done well. So I don't see why he can't cut it in the prem.

Ki has looked decent for Swansea and Sunderland in the past 2-3 years.

ive suggested Song for months

Song is apparently injured for 3 months, so West Ham are debating weather to sign him. I do agree though looked very good for West Ham last year and wouldn't mind him at Tottenham. Although a lot of Arsenal fan's will jump on the bandwagon (arsenal reject) etc.

I am more comfortable with signing players from the bundesliga than from serie a or la liga...

bundesliga is a much more comparable league in terms of style in my opinion.

Agreed, but I won't get too excited about a player I know nothing about, then if like Njie he does well, then.. lads

Just read this http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/08/26/levys-smartest-deal-yet-tottenhams-reportedly-imminent-son-deal/?

I wonder if this is another commercial buy like Yedlin?

Remember when we signed Toda and Mabizela for commercial reasons

It could well be for commercial reasons but Son would walk into our team. so happy days, Levy makes money off shirt sales in England and Korea and we have a class player that im sure will score goals for us.

Can;t see us in the market for good players like Bender, and Illarramendi

Son, Boalisi and Berahino are realistic targets

for 20 mill quid?

other commercial deals (khumalo, yedlin) have been for peanuts.

As some have said, it makes sense commercially to buy him; sales in Asia etc. will offset part of the purchase price.

It also does make sense to buy from the Bungesliga. I can't see us bringing anyone in from Serie A for some years ...

Hardly fair to lump Son in with Berahino and Bolasie.

Berahino and Bolasie have only played for lower end Prem clubs in the last couple of years. Son has played in the Champions League for the last 2 years.
