Incredible insight.
There surely cannot be a 'serious' Arsenal fan - i.e one that watches the games - that is happy with this window. Therefore, what reaction did the OP expect. Some of the negativity is over the top of course, but if you follow the pattern, nobody is saying we are no good, they are saying we have not strengthened, thus how can we overcome a 12-point gap? It is a completely rational reaction to a completely irrational managerial decision.

Thought some of you must be reminded.
Digby is being a wannabe Godfather.
I think all this money throwing at footballers is going to burst like dot com bubble or us stock market bubble. Most of the people couldn't imagine big banks like Lehman Brothers or Bear Stearns would collapse. Something must burst, the situation is just ridiculous. TV stations give the clubs lot of money and these have to play circus with it twice a year.
Whats strange is people who were quite happy with the squad, especially when Cech was signed are now going to site this window as they worst of all time. Even though absolutely nothing has changed.
I was hoping for a world class signing but I am not a child who stamps his feet because one was not available nor do I make up deluded beliefs that wenger didn't try to sign anyone because he wants to penny pinch.
I do not believe a new signing was essential for challenging for the title. In fact I think even the likes of benzema and cavani wouldn't have been as important as getting the players we already have to play to their best and avoiding injuries. That is the challenge for wenger now the window has closed. That is what I'll judge him on, not if he signed more players than West Bromwich
Can he get the likes of welbeck/theo alexis scoring 15 league goals? Can he get giroud on 20? This is what matters
