Very surprised. Thought Cox would be the first on here praising TP and the lads.
It was many things but it wasn't perfect.
We absolutely suffocated Villa though
Few things are perfect. I'm pleased though.
Fair play, WBA much the better team. Seemed from the start to the finish the Albion players were far more up for it than some of ours.
Oh well onto Tuesday night!
We were brilliant today.
Completely bossed Villa from start to finish.
Well Done TP.
Well Done boys.

@CoachDave_: 10th in PL after 6 games. 4 clean sheets. Only conceded v MC & CFC. Still in cup. Won at Villa. But Pulis football isn't good enough... #wba

Still in two cups, actually.
Well done TP and the boys! Went against my expectations and has made my weekend.
I think TP along with all players and fans alike really hurt after last year and they needed a chance to set the record straight.
Villa talking big a few weeks ago...
Heis, I hope today's result and performance have erased a few bad memories for the poor souls who were at those two games at Villa last season. Hope our fans were back on their usual best behaviour this time.
Just the result we all needed and, at the same time, reminding the PL we have a young striker who knows his way to goal.
From elsewhere...
With 4 clean sheets too...
Played last seasons top 2 at home, and we're unbeaten away despite playing at Villa and Stoke... All the while, with Berahino kicking off behind the scenes.
Granted it's not been the best viewing, but Pulis has stuck to what he knows... Build a solid foundation, don't lose games and then start to add bits going forward. He's far from perfect, and there will be plenty of meltdowns in the next 30-odd games, but he knows what he's doing...
Why have you filtered me JH.
Can't stand the heat or slip off the finger?
Latter I'd say.
Have to have faith in Tony. The stick he was getting early season IMO was completely unwarranted. Considering what he inherited and how solid he has made us
Why is Pulis always the elephant in the room when it comes to management, his record speaks for itself.
Dare i say it England would be hard to beat with him.
Villa boss Tim Sherwood: "I'm disappointed that we didn't perform. West Brom deserved the result and did a good job on us. We didn't express ourselves.
"Today wasn't our day and we have to give them credit for stifling us and getting their scruffy goal."

Scruffy goals against Villa are always excellent!
Dare i say it England would be hard to beat with him.

Fair point, Igor.
@BaggiesFacts: #WBA have won 4 of their last 7 PL away games, D2 & lost just once. In this sequence we've conceded in just 2 matches http://t.co/r05W6WmedH

Still no Cox. Perhaps the result's upset him.
Shocker, I said to keep the faith with Tony, as did others. And the results and performances would improve. 6 games in and we have only conceded let alone lost to the best 2 teams in the league
Good 3 points away against a poor Villa side.
Fingers crossed they'll finally get relegated this season!

Upset? Quite the contrary BB. I love beating that Vile lot!
I think you'll find I never post on here during weekends. I've better things to do!

The match was away JH so I think you'll find most Albion fans were in their metaphorical armchairs on Saturday.
Either way, watching Pulizzzz is no match for South Africa vs Japan. Epic match!
Well it had been good for thirty six hours or so.
