I should have said soundly beaten. I don't expect a humiliating crumble by Utd. But you'll lose by more than one. 3-0, 3-1 or 4-2. Most likely the 2nd option. It's not a good time to have to play Arsenal.

I'm not wumming, just confident.

If we don't win this by at least 2 goals I'll have to seriously consider joining the WOB, United are bang average!

We even lost to Moyes United

Also, how the fack did we lose to United last season at home.

United just have a horrible knack of getting results while playing garbage which is pretty much what they have been doing for the last 3-4 seasons

The usual pre Utd cockiness is coming out, people seem to forget that our record against is still pretty crap despite the FA cup win at OT last season. It will be a tight game, none of this comfortable win stuff. If we win it'll be by the 1 goal. Think it'll be 1-1.

Has dubbed even watched utd or Depay? Seems like he's going of his typical YouTube videos to form opinions. They're spent 300mill being top is the least that's expected.
Arsenal are getting things right; when we are good I don't worry about other teamd

Can't agree more.

It shows how things can change quickly.

The PL is the most exciting League. Every team can beat everyone.

Not sure what you're smoking, WengersBodyGuard, but you have to lay off the stuff. I can assure you United will be a very hard game, and your Walcott bubble will be burst soon. The guy has done okay recently but you're losing your grip on reality with these excitable ramblings.

If we can keep up the level for unity, commitment and dont make silly mistake at the back we should be alright against United. We must be clinical to "shock" them and score first. Would like to see the Ox starting this game.

Will be hard to breakdown United.

They don't create much but seem to take their chances at crucial times.

Sherrif

Someone needs to be positive among all the wet blankets. Its no secret Theo is my favourite Arsenal player. But I'm not just a blind fanboy.

Unlike many criticising and doubting him, I'm actually paying close attention to how he is playing. Yes Leicester helped him yesterday but there were times in the game where he had, his back to goal, had to be strong, had to hold up the ball.

All the reasons people say he can't be a striker. And at times he done all of them and handled himself well enough. He can do those things. And given his tendency to improve weaknesses in his game. He will only get better at doing them.

He won't need a high line to cause havoc much longer.

Wenger in til I die...or he does

Kos will nullify martial but Rooney will get his customary goal. I think we could hit 3 tho, we've been creating 20+ chances a match.

posted on 27/9/15

Rooney will also be a major threat. He popped with a goal yesterday which shows he's still class.

Watching the little I saw of Martial in highlights, he actually just reminds me of a young Walcott. He is a bit "headless chicken" still. I like the fact that he has been made a striker from the outset as he'll be the finished product earlier in his career.

Actually a good buy for Utd but would have been madness for us with Walcott and Welbeck at the club. Someone's progress would be prevented. As long as we don't get " Having a howler mistake today" Kos, Martial will be kept quiet.

Rooney's just a git to Arsenal you just know he'll score. Fair play to the man, can't stand him but his presence means we have to score 2 so he pressures us into performing.

Martial is anything but a "headless chicken". He will also be a constant thorn in our side. A major threat.

Dubbed

Maybe I've just not seen enough of him but the little I have seen says he's a few seasons off thorn in our side. Everyone's caught up in the hype/price tag, as usual and talking as though he's the finished product. He's not and has a way to go before he'll be outscoring Walcott over a season

As said, provided our defenders don't make a howling mistake, he'll be kept quiet. This season at least.

I never meant headless chicken- rubbish as such.

Headless chicken - young. Just that naivety that all young players have. Even Ronaldo was a headless chicken once upon a time. Albeit a headless chicken with a stepover.

Ronaldo was never a "'headless chicken". He was a constant thorn in our side. A major threat. And is currently one of the GOAT.

Dubbed doing his best Castor impression I like it.

posted on 28/9/15

Early on in Ronaldo's first season, he was a headless chicken. It's a common trait among young wingers especially. Don't make out like the Ronaldo at Real is the same standard of player that was 17 at Utd. He wasn't, he was raw and naive and made headless chicken runs just like everyone else in the position until they learn to play it.

I'm not saying he didn't pick it up quickly and I'm not saying he's not the 2nd best player in the world. Just that one day, many many moons ago, Ronaldo's too, was a headless chicken.
