Nah he wouldn't have. If Wenger was ever going to be sacked it would have been the season we were tonked 8-2 by Utd, Cesc and Nasri left and we resorted to last min panick buying dross like Benayoun, Andre Santos and Park chu young.
My friend, you probably forgot how many games Sanchez has won on his own for Arsenal in the previous season. Without Sanchez, Arsenal may not have finished in the top4.....and that would been difficult for Arsenal's hierarchy to digest.
